Been before location and lovely grounds

Bed very small

Very peaceful and loved having the ducks we ended up with 2 favourites at the lodge that laid an egg our wee boy loved it. Perfect for what we needed going to near by park. Swimming pool was warm water very cold when getting out into locker room. Lodge was very cosy used the kitchen few times

Abit old fashioned furniture and bathroom wise, bed is hard but it us done a couple nights Parking is a bit tight for space. Could do with outdoor seating area.

We had a 2 night stay and extended by one night when we were sent an email with a reduced price. We were really enjoying ourselves and 2 nights wasn't enough. Well located and quiet. Staff at the desk were lovely and very obliging, saying hello to our dogs and gave our son some food for the ducks prior to our departure. The lodge was really well equipped with towels and all that you need. They are tired, and I thought it expensive for this reason, but was ideal for a family stay with a toddler and spaniels. Very clean, lovely power shower. Although there were lots of cars around, we didn't see that many people and the atmosphere was very relaxed. My husband found some lovely walks on the door step and the leisure facilities were great. We had a wonderful stay and made special memories for our sons third birthday. Thank you!

These are beautiful, tranquil forest cabins. The location is stunning and quiet, and yet it's very close to Aviemore, Landmark part and many other activities. It also has a decent pool and leisure facilities.

As other reviewers have noted, the cabins are dated and there are some minor irritations that detract from the stay. For instance, the WiFi is very weak, our cabin lacked some equipment (a knife, for instance), and the pool seemed to be open at unpredictable hours. Also, check in time is 5pm, which is not industry standard and is very inconvenient. We found staff not very responsive. Although we had booked from the night before our arrival, it took some time to get our key because of the 5pm check in time.

The park was closed for maintenance and the bar and restaurant were closed. I feel it would be good to have a vending machine and some essential items at reception to purchase.

This was my 4 th stay at the resort, always look forward to it as it allows us to recharge our batteries. the cabins are a bit worn this we know and do make the most of it however felt the price was a bit more expensive this year and expected some renovations .

Water pressure in the shower was awful and no cold water running into the bath from the tap.

Friendly staff and great location.

Cabins nice but could do with upgrading but run down but still nice stay. Poor wifi.
