The location and the Ambiance

While the breakfast was acceptable, the selection was quite limited and did not match the high price point

Really spacious, love the overhang, window feature, love the swimming pool. Love the location. We had good adventures just walking in the neighborhood.

There was some noise from trucks going over the bridge nearby, although they weren’t sharp noises. At other times, it felt totally quiet. I had problems with the Internet, it went in and out, the staff was very helpful, but this was frustrating as I didn’t have cell phone access just Internet.

The stuff was friendly although not too responsive and eager. We had a wonderful boat ride in the backwater villages with an electric boat with very knowledgeable and kind guides. The ride though was way too expensive as we came to understand in the following weeks in India.

The pool looked abandoned. Way too chlorinated, my kids got skin rush. The food was OK, the restaurant across the street much better. The rooms are open to the outside, there is zero sound insulation and there was a cricket field outside our bedroom where very loud enthusiasts were playing while we were trying to recover from jetlag.

Its a nice resort within driving distance from Ernakulam. Facilities are good. There are two restaurant with Seafood and multi cuiisine offering. The seafood one is particularly nice... both ambience and quality of food. Lots of things to do for the adventurous outdoor types

The cottage we stayed in had bedrooms upstairs with the washroom downstairs. This makes it inconvenient for the elderly and handicapped.. Room cleaniing is done, only on request. This is not good enough as there iis no garbage/waste removal.

De vriendelijkheid van het personeel is iets wat meteen opvalt zodra je aankomt en die ervaring bleef het gehele verblijf. Het resort is tropisch groen door de prachtige tuinen en gebouwd op mensenmaat. Dit maakt dat het persoonlijk aanvoelt en vooral niet verdwijnt in de massa. We hebben een heerlijk rustig verblijf gehad!

Je kan er niet omheen dat een snelweg met zwaar havenverkeer langs het resort loopt. Dit hoor je, maar ik heb het niet als heel storend ervaren. Hier en daar merk je dat het resort wat onderhoud nodig heeft, zoals tegeltjes in het zwembad die missen, beschadigingen aan de muren in de cottages enz. Het zijn echter de details, de vriendelijkheid van het personeel maakt alles meer dan goed.

The ambience

The place also is an even centre . Open events . During my stay it was very noisy with surround speakers and we were not able to have a peace . No care is given for birds in the cage , and I think they should free them to nature

Had a great experience at Nihara. Excellent staff, Anjaly in reception, Sanjana and Emil in restaurant and all of the Team where Excellent. Beautiful resort placed in accessible spot. Well maintained. All the services were exceptional.

The activities were good and kids had fun.

The dinner time was 8 which could be brought a bit forward.
