Nihara Resort and Spa Cochin

Had a great stay at Nihara. Located at Kadamakudy Islands near Aster Medicity. I stayed in the meandering pool cottage where you can walk into a private pool space. The cottage was with two storeys, with main room in the upper floor. There is a sofa bed option in the ground floor. Very big bathroom. Ambience wise top notch. Gaming options: cricket, badminton, basketball, foosball, carroms, chess, UNO, snake and ladder etc. There are two restaurants-one in-house and other located across the road which is specialised in sea food. Food is pricey in the first restaurant but tasty. Complimentary breakfast had a nice spread. Overall, very nice experience.

Not much assistance for Backwaters row boats or Shikara. Need to depend on external people. Back water area set up should be even more set well for evenings as most people like me choose this hotel thinking we can spend more time sitting and relaxing near by back water. More lightings which should make the place vibrant is advised, Like place to sit n relax. Restaurant facing Back waters, extended small bridge which helps walk on it and watch the beauty of nature in early mornings and evenings. Pool Side vibe was less as the pool was also connected to private Access of the pool attached rooms which made others bit hesitant to feel free at pool.

Good house keeping.

Breakfast needs to improve a lot. Needs more variety.
