All was good.

An excellent quiet room in close proximity to the volcano. Luxurious fresh air.

The sink was in one place, while the shower cabin was in another, which was not very convenient. It would also be preferable to have a handheld showerhead in the shower cabin. Additionally, I didn't like the presence of flies flying around in the dining room.

Location was brilliant

It didn't feel like value for money, wasn't welcoming with no hotel lounge or seating, only an art gallery.

This is the 6th time we have stayed here and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. We were really pleased that there was a dessert awaiting us in our room. It was a nice gesture.

As a repeat guest the staff know that we need to park such that we are guaranteed to be able to leave the hotel early morning for the races we go to Bromo to attend. This has been an issue in the past when we were blocked in and it took half an hour to find the owner of the car blocking us. If heading for a race start, half an hour delay is unacceptable. This will be the last time we stay at Jiwa Jawa as it again became a big problem. They phoned us 3 times and then came to our room after we were in bed, insisting we move our car. It was parked where staff had directed us to park but they didn't accept our reluctance to move it. Eventually we had to park it out on the steep, narrow road, with orange hazard cones around it, so that one of their "VIP" guests could park in the bay that had been assigned to us. Whilst I know this type of status system operates in Indonesia, I find it unacceptable that we were literally harassed to accept that we were second class guests! Unbelievable!
