Kandy Mountain Cottage

The hosts Joseph and his wife are amazing hosts. The place is exactly as it is in pictures and very peaceful.

The breakfast was amazing and they help us organize our waterfalls trip.

Nice simple rooms in a quiet part of Kandy with a great terrace offering views over the city. The hosts were very helpful and offered a huge breakfast.

Other reviews have mentioned the location - though not that far from the centre, it is a bit tucked away and can be tricky for taxis to find. The hill up to the guesthouse is also *very* steep. The sheets were not the cleanest I've seen.

Our appartment was really wet, most of our clothes from our bags got wet too. It was the only room in the lower floor, so I suppose the rest of the rooms should be okay. It was probably the only negative.

spacious, clean and tidy room. with tea and coffee making facilities. can sit on the balcony. absolutely delicious and rich breakfast, with pleasant conversation with other guests and the owners. exceeded expectations, and I recommend it 100%.

Very pleasant accommodation away from the city noise, helpful and friendly host who arranged everything we needed, we highly recommend it, especially because of the excellent cooking skills of the hostess.

Great apartment with wonderful view over Kandy. Our host was incredibly friendly and prepared us delicious breakfast's :) Room are located near big supermarket and close to main street so it's perfect place for visiting Kandy.

We loved our peaceful stay here, with gorgeous hosts Joseph and Sriani. They went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasurable as possible. Sriani is a wonderful cook. We got to enjoy her delicious breakfasts and a lovely dinner too. Sriani also did our loads of washing for us. It was nice to be out of the city but also not too far out. We had beautiful views from our balcony to watch the birds from and relax.

The only down side was the toilets struggling to flush properly but this could be easily managed with a few extra flushes.

The breakfast was excellent.. The host couple is too co-operative as at the time of our exit we hd met with some unusual mishap but they responded us very warm.. They rushed to the situation and found out the proper solution our of it..
