Kandy Mountain Cottage

This was the best host we have ever experienced so far. They treated us like family, making us feel truly cared for. The homemade breakfasts were not only delicious but also incredibly healthy. During our stay, it happened to be my wife's birthday, and the hosts went above and beyond to help us arrange a surprise birthday party. If you’re looking for exceptional hospitality and great company, this is undoubtedly the place to stay in Kandy. If I ever visit Kandy again, I will definitely return here

The location of the property is good and is accessible to stores and transportation. The property has a nice charm to it as it is on 2 levels and the views from the corridor is good. The hosts are a lovely couple who are friendly and full of information about Kandy and Sri Lankan travel in general. The breakfast is simple and good.

The room size is small and the bed covers most of the room. Its located on a steep access road and is a bit of a stretch for small cars to scale up there. So the option is to walk up the steep road to the property

We’re booked it last minute and after all set they call me and he said “ we’re fully booked cancel the booking also I didn’t feel it’s request.it’s a like a push me to do it. There is a room left when I booked but they said no we’re fully booked . Call them before booked

The owners were friendly and extremely helpful, the breakfast was excellent, and it was very close to central Kandy.

The bathroom needed a little updating, but the hotel was very lovely. It was difficult to reach due to the very steep incline of the hill it was on. That shouldn't put anyone off staying here though.

We loved the owners! They were not just friendly, they were really genuinely nice. And we loved the beef biryani! The view from the rooms is very nice!

The room I’ve got was on three bottom floor and was very disappointing. Stench of mold was very strong. There was hardly any windows and there were holes above the door that resulted in a lot of bugs and mosquitoes to appear. You had to go through a lawn each time to go between room and the main building where breakfast was served. Very steep access road that was slippery during rainfall .

The room was clean and the breakfast was incredible. I even got a lunch package because I had to check out very early. And the hosts are super nice. It’s located a bit far from the city centre, but via bus you can get there very easy
