The owners were so nice and helped us a lot. The room was calm and with nice views.

A free room upgrade despite booking very last minute was very much appreciated. The room had incredible views and a very comfy large bed. The host was very kind and straight to the point (which we like), offering us a tour but not being overly pushy. Had a very comfortable night and even had a pack lunch made for us for the next days train journey

Owned by a super-friendly and helpful family. They organized a tour of Kandy for me where I went the whole day with a tuk tuk driver for 6 500 rupees (excluding entrance charges to various sites).

I did not really have a problem with this, but the location is a bit remote which isn't necessarily a con, but good to be aware of.

The bathroom was not perfectly clean

Very communicative hosts with helpful tips on how to get into the centre of Kandy by bus, tuk tuk, or walking. We found the 3km walk downhill to town or the lake, enjoyable. Convenient to supermarkets and a few other little food or grocery stores. Helped with a driver to show us places that we were interested in close to Kandy and also found us a driver for the day we left. Breakfasts served at a time of our convenience in their kitchen. Lovely garden.
