I think every thing was lovely....l liked breakfast and the range of food were amazing

The only thing thing for me that was nof good was the italian pizza.....lt was not cooked enough so very soggy.

Our first day, overall under whelming experience, the food is substandard, service v unattentive and it takes an act of God to find the server, with multiple people complaining and leaving most of their dish in the seafood restaurant. Generally every one does the bare minimum with lack of ownership or direct managerial supervision. I don’t recommend this place

This was my first time in Egypt and like all travellers I read the reviews. I wasn’t looking happy to go into this place as a lot of the reviews are very terrible. Upon arrival. We were greeted with nothing but kindness and hospitality. We had two stays in this hotel one before the Nile Cruise and one after I cannot fault this place at all my grandma who is not very good at walking was catered for by the concierge if she wanted to leave the room she would ring reception. They would send her a golf cart. I tried every restaurant in the hotel as a chef myself I cannot fault the food, don’t come to the hotel expecting food from your country. You are in a different country and you are here to experience their food the whole atmosphere of the hotel was amazing. The pools were clean. The beach was clean. The only restaurant we didn’t try was the sushi one which you have to pay for. I’m not keen on sushi so wasn’t interested in trying it spoke to other guests that I’ve eaten there they said the food was fine. I had drinks with ice cubes. I also ate salad. I have had no illness from eating any food in this hotel. The rooms were immaculate on our first day. We was on the first floor. They accommodated us immediately and moved us to a ground floor for my grandma’s health reasons thank you to all at the Swiss inn for your amazing hospitality I cannot find one single thing to fault this hotel on apart from the Wi-Fi signal in line 2 which is across the road but you don’t really need Wi-Fi when you’re in Africa just go and see the country. The hotel will provide a modem. It is to be collected from reception between 4 and 5 pm so if you are reading my review please go and experience a hotel for yourself. Don’t be put off by any of the other reviews. People expect food from their country that is not the case when you’re in Egypt experience the food experience the culture And have an amazing time lots of love from Queen Chelsea and Queen Sheila we will definitely be back

We were treated like criminals instead of guests. Staff were rude, intrusive, and constantly watching us — there was no privacy or peace at any point. The bathtub was filthy, the bed was hard, and management showed no concern or accountability. We left feeling violated and disrespected. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Location is on the beginning of Memsha trade zone. Huge resort, not too well maintained. Kids zone, sliders for example didnt work 6 out of 7 days. Atmosphere is nothing special, one of 5 workers have a smile on face during his job… rooms are well equipped but very badly maintained, especially hygiene is a problem. Dust, dirt, sand, who knows who’s hair all over a floor… they even had to admit that and change my room for other with mostly the same problems… Anyway, if you know what to expect at a five star hotel - dont go there. This is maybe appropriate to call a three star hotel… not good value for money you have to spend thete.

We stayed at the Swiss Inn Resort as a group of 13 of us from ages 3 to 63. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely return again. I'll start with the few criticisms and reason I didn't give 5 stars. HOTELS MASSAGE/ACTIVITY GUYS - On our first day we were absolutely hounded by them constantly. I know they work on commission but it really irritated me when I just wanted to relax and enjoy time with my family. They continued to for a while but eased up as time went on. BEACH SUN BEDS - people reserve their beds as early as 5am!! No problem round the pool but the beach is another story. We did see staff removing towels and belongings after 1 hour of being unattended but this did cause some tension between guests thinking they had moved their stuff. DRINKS - Its your typical cheap all inclusive drinks standard. got a bit stuck on what to drink a lot. Wine is only included at meal times! ASIAN RESTAURANT/ONE WAITER - The Asian Restaurant on the Marina was great, fabulous location and menu is great for anyone who likes Asian food. Just a shame we had a not very good experience with one particular visit with one particular member of staff. He was unlike any of the other staff members, rude and unhelpful. BUT, what I will say, when i complained to reception, they took it very seriously. The manager came to meet us and hear what we had to say. They booked us a big table at our restaurant of choice and fussed over us all evening. That particular member of staff was moved to somewhere else in the hotel and clearly given some feedback. Other than that I cannot fault it. The rest of the staff are absolutely brilliant and work so hard - special mention to Mamoud in the reception bar, Hamada at the beach bar and Ahmed at the pool bar. They always went that extra mile to welcome us, find us somewhere to sit and remember our drinks and kept them coming - You guys made our holiday so thank you so much! The hotel itself is so impressive. The staff work hard to keep it clean. The food was great and could always find something to eat, lots of choice. The animation team were also great, working hard, having fun and getting people involved. The evening entertainment was ok, we enjoyed the dancers and fire show. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The beach was our favourite spot so clean and beautiful. Half of our group was located in the older part of the hotel across the road which they quite liked, we spent a few quieter more relaxed days at their pool which was also nice. During our stay, we hired a private boat through one of the guys located in reception and did snorkelling and scuba diving, we did a quad bike and jeep safari to bedouin camp with camel riding and a star gazing dinner and also did a glass bottom boat. I would thoroughly recommend them all, just be crystal clear on what you are getting and be sure to let them know if it didn't meet expectations and they will sort it for you. I've visited Sharm twice but this was my first time in Hurghada and probably wouldn't return to Sharm again, Hurghada was MUCH nicer and the little strip this hotel and other 4 and 5 star hotels is on is so nice and safe.
