Amada Colossos Resort

Our stay at this hotel was truly unforgettable! All of the staff at Amada Colossus were super friendly, but the entertainment team really made our holiday one to remember!! A special thank you to Michal and Beata, who hosted much of the entertainment both during the day and in the evenings. The activities such as darts, ping pong, boccia, and water polo were great fun for both adults and children. Michal and Beata did a fantastic job encouraging people to join in and were always incredibly friendly. My partner and I actually got engaged during our stay in Rhodes, and the entertainment team helped make our time there even more special! The food was excellent, with plenty of variety and some fantastic à la carte restaurants. We also loved the beachside options serving gyros, chicken nuggets, burgers, and sandwiches, as well as the water park bar with pizza, hotdogs, and toasties! All included in the all-inclusive package. Getting a sunbed was never an issue, we usually went down around 8am, but even at 9 or 10am there were still plenty available. I would definitely return to Amada Colossus and highly recommend it!

Everything was fine until the last day of departure when our suitcase went missing from the luggage room. the hotel refused to issue a missing luggage document, and the travel agent told us to return to the country without our luggage and did not even suggest calling the police (there were 20 minutes left until the bus to the airport left when we noticed that the suitcase was missing and we were under stress so we didn't think logically) the hotel claims that there is no monitoring at the reception and at the entrance. Hotel was supposed to inform us today whether the luggage was found, but he also does not respond to e-mails

Great hotel, very good hotel infrastructure. Delicious food and a professional, always smiling and helpful crew. Many thanks to the waitress Ana and her husband for their professional service during meals. The only minor disadvantage was the central air conditioning in the rooms.

We stayed here as a family - grandparents, parents with two toddlers. Overall, the experience was fine, but it did not quite feel like a true 5-star stay. Positives: • Service was very good, and we never had to wait for anything. • Dinner buffet and à la carte restaurants were enjoyable, with good breakfast as well. • Included rosé wine was nice, though other drinks were less impressive. • The waterpark was a hit with our two-year-olds, and they especially loved running around before the mini disco, dancing with the balloons. • The sea was lovely, but water shoes are definitely needed. Negatives: • Our room felt very basic, not up to 5* standards: no coffee machine or extra touches you’d expect. • The sliding door between the rooms did not reach the ceiling, so there was no privacy. • Very noisy overall: music from the adults’ bar, theater, and main area all carried into the room, and we could also hear corridor noise and neighbors. • Bathroom design offered no privacy – no door to the bathroom itself, and the toilet door also stopped below the ceiling. • The atmosphere lacked coziness and that special touch we’ve experienced at other resorts. Overall: The resort delivered good food, service, and fun for children, but if you’re looking for comfort, privacy, and a true 5-star feel, it may not meet expectations.

11 days at the Amada Colossos. Very gorgeous hotel with great view of the surrounding mountains and ocean. Check in was quick and easy. Bags taken directly to our room was a lovely touch. Room itself is small but perfectly comfortable. WiFi in the room was great addition. Food was okay. Standard all inclusive but the a la cart restaurants were absolutely lovely. Got to get in quick to book a place though. Sun beds have been all the talk but it was fairly easy and straightforward. Get down before 9 and you’ll be able to find some if not the water park or beach always had plenty. The guys will take your stuff away if you leave the beds unattended before 9am. I see this happen multiple times. Bars around the pool, beach & water park were great. Had anything and everything you needed and more. Entertainment was okay. Singers and musicians throughout the day and night with shows on late evening. Staff members were all lovely. So polite and friendly. Couldn’t do enough for you. Construction work isn’t a problem. Unless your room directly opposite your barely even know they are there. Can’t see it unless to the right on the beach and certainly can’t hear anything. Don’t worry about it All in all had an amazing time would highly recommend to anyone.

Very enjoyable week here end of Aug into early Sept. We had 2 rooms with Mountain View on 7th floor. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The Mountain View was fine…sunsets and not overlooked. Was concerned about an apparent struggle to get beds by the pool. We had no such problems as we like to get up early anyhow to go for a swim etc. We always had 4 beds at the water’s edge from 8am and we stayed on them until later in the morning. Only witnessed one couple that had their towels removed for reserving beds before 9am without using them until much later. If you like to get to the pool after 9am then yes you will struggle to find a space. The rule is simply; reserve beds before 9am and sit on them. After that you are free to go to use the restaurant, grab coffee, go down to the beach or whatever. Fair enough. As for the restaurants; the buffet has a wide selection of food. Breakfast is excellent. Lunchtime and evening the food could be served a bit hotter but the quality was good. The Greek a la carte was the best. The bbq beach one was very nice as it was set next to the beach but the buffet could have been warmer. Oriental and Italian were just ok. The beach grill serving souvlaki and gyros was pretty good for a lunchtime bite. The upstairs cocktail bar served the best quality drinks in the evening. Evening entertainment was ok; the Michael Jackson show was the best followed by Mama Mia. Overall, the staff here are fantastic and they work so hard. Credit to them. Shame that the waterpark only had slide open at a time which was not great. Overall, for the price paid we thought it offered good value for money and we would consider returning here again.

We visited this hotel for two weeks from 19/08/2025 as a family,myself my wife,son,daughter in law and two teenagers.My wife and I had a sea view room,4th floor.The bed was a good size,there was ample storage,the pillows were extremely soft (not to my liking but tastes differ).The bathroom was well laid out and the shower was good.The a/c was adequate and comfortable.The “mini bar” contained water only,strange for an all inclusive.Our maid was perfect,she cleaned and looked after the room exceptionally well,full marks. The lifts,though busy at peak times,worked well with no outages experienced.The food in the buffet restaurant was more than acceptable,at times very good.The staff there were friendly and efficient,remembering seating and beverage preferences,full marks. The so called a la carte restaurants,typical of all inclusive,tried to upsell with overpriced drinks menu.I find that all inclusive a la cartes,instead of providing authentic dishes,try and hide lack of expertise by fancy little touches to dishes that don’t work,then pretend to be gourmet establishments with snooty attitudes.Food not bad but very pretentious. The numerous bars worked well if one avoided the so called cocktails (though enjoyed by the teenagers,sweet slush)We sat mainly in the small bar,above the pool bar,Maria and Mario looked after us above and beyond,nothing was too much trouble and after two visits remembered not only our drinks but also our names.Many thanks. The pools were cool but needed to be,and were refreshingly effective and enjoyable.The sunbeds were at best adequate,typical for a four star hotel.The pool surrounds were extremely slippery,so care was needed. All in all a very enjoyable stay at a good priced hotel.

Pools and sunbed area was great. Live music all over the place was a lovely touch. Restaurant dining areas (a la carte) were delicious. Shows and entertainment team were great fun and good quality

Water slides weren’t open a lot!?

Overall amazing experience. The food and drink was defo a top hit for me and my family. The rooms are generally speaking CLEAN. With a welcoming fruit basket. Every day my childen dropped thier food on the floor 🤣 ( accidentally) the pool is AMAZING! 🤩 it has a bridge going over it alongside an in-water bar. A great waterpark, family friendly. Tennis and football courts are great to let out some much needed taking away energy. And the beach is about 2 steps walkable! The only thing I would complain about is the fights over sunbeds by the pool. All inclusive, plenty of restaurants, great location! Defo a go there again for me and my family.
