Amada Colossos Resort

We recently returned from a family vacation at this hote, and it was simply outstanding. the location is breathtaking, the food is excellent, and the service is truly exceptional. As someone with lactose allergy, I received the best care I have ever experienced-with Executive Chef Konstantions personally ensuring that every meal was safe and delicios. the additional restaurants were also excellent and attentive to my needs. the rooms with stunning views, the pool,spa,bars were all perfect. special thanks to Maria Capitan for her warm welcome & hospitalty! Highly recommended for a flawless holiday!!

An excellent large hotel, with plenty of friendly, helpful staff to cope with the large number of guests. We loved our big room 7096 and its view over the massive pool, to the sea beyond. The balcony was a generous size. The fridge was silent, which helps greatly with a night’s sleep. We were there for 2 weeks, but never tried the a la carte restaurants, as the buffet was stupendous, with different themes every night. As well as the usual bars, there was also a health bar, serving no alcohol, which was a nice idea. Lovely frozen yoghurt there. The beach is okay, but we stayed by the pool, as we enjoyed all the activities going on every day. A special shout-out to Michal, Betty, Victoria and Alex, who kept us entertained. I’d also like to thank Giorgios, Anna, Iryna and Panagiotta in the restaurant, and Mara and Evi on reception, who all looked after us so well. One tip: the hotel asks you not to reserve sunbeds before 10.00am, which is when the towel desk opens. Keep your towels overnight and bag a sunbed by about 9.30, or you will struggle to get one. My only criticisms are small. No USB points and no drying rails in the rooms, and no handrail on the steps down to the pool loo. Other than that, top marks!

Our holidays here were beautiful. Nice and clean rooms and welcoming staff. The Food was also very tasty. On our last day we ate at The a la carte Restaurant "creek taverna". What can I say, the food was absolutly delicious, but the Service was even better! We enjoyed every second in this location. We wanted the waitress to come with us to Germany, but we will visit her again for Sure! We love you Christina! Laura&Jan

Ok this Hotel worth the review. It’s very large. Run extremely well. We arrived to a room which wasn’t suitable for three adults. So the reservation Manager Mr. Kalopsis very generously upgraded us to a two bed room. It was perfect. Very spacious. Lots of work too space as I was semi working whilst I was there. The room was very clean. We had amazing views. Now to the other things…. The pool was huge and very busy. We only used it once. We are beach people and this is where it warrants five stars. The beach was fantastic. Clean. But mostly had one of the best seas I have ever swam in. I’ve swam in the Indian Ocean and I’d say this was better. Clear, calm, and a wonderful temperature. We were very kindly given cabanas also whilst there. What a lovely touch !! That was arrange by the food and beverage manager Manos. Who was also amazing and really looked after us. Both of the above guys were superb. I would also like to mention Maria who was at the cafe bar by the pool inside the Hotel. What a lovely helpful friendly member of staff she was also. If I were to have to critique any part of the Hotel I’d say the food let it down. It’s. 5 star Hotel. Most of the hotel is 5 star. But the food definitely was not. The food at the beachside was the worst. Freezing cold and tasteless as was the Greek restaurant. Frozen chicken for the kebabs !! The Italian restaurant was nice. We ate out twice and the local fish was amazing. In hindsight I probably wouldn’t have paid for all inclusive as the local drinks were bad too. But all in all this Hotel is well run and the two men mentioned are exceptional at their job. Would we go back ? Probably not until they upped the standard of food and local drink. But we did have a lovely time.

This was already our fifth stay at this wonderful hotel in Rhodes, and every time it feels truly special. As early as spring we start choosing the dates with excitement, looking for flights, and then spend months anticipating this holiday with joy. And it is always worth the wait - the experience never disappoints. It’s been a week and a half since we returned home, yet we still find ourselves talking about this vacation every single day. A huge thank you to the entire hotel team. Special gratitude goes to the reservations department, the ever-smiling reception staff, the kind porters helping with luggage, and the guest relations crew including their manager Mr. Panos - your care makes such a difference. What makes this place so unique is how everyone manages to be both incredibly friendly and genuinely professional, always knowing their job and doing it with heart. Heartfelt thanks to the head chef, the whole kitchen and restaurant team. We especially want to mention Karina, Kyriakos, and their manager Maria — every dinner with you was a celebration. The bar staff also deserve a big thank you, including Maria from the Greek Taverna, whose hospitality we will always remember. We are also very grateful to the wonderful people who keep the beach, gardens, and rooms in perfect condition - thanks to your work, the hotel always feels immaculate. And of course, our thanks go to everyone we might not even see, but who contributes to making this holiday so unique. Of course, no place in the world can be absolutely perfect - there are always little things here and there. But when a hotel becomes your second home for a few days each year, you start to love it even for its tiny imperfections, which in their own way make it truly one of a kind. For our family, this hotel has become a place of joy and renewal - an experience we long for months in advance, and start dreaming of again as soon as we leave. We are already looking forward to our sixth visit!

Overall, we had a really great stay here! I’d say it feels more like a very good 4-star hotel rather than a true 5-star compared to others we’ve stayed at, but we still had a lovely time. The food was fantastic – there’s a great variety and plenty of à la carte restaurants to choose from, so we never got bored of eating the same thing. Our room was very clean and well looked after, with housekeeping coming in every day to change towels, top up bottled water, and tidy up. We also had sandwiches in the fridge and a bottle of red wine waiting for us when we arrived, which was such a nice touch. One thing to be aware of – there’s no iron in the room, so plan ahead if you need one. The bars were great, though the drinks were very strong (tasted like pure alcohol sometimes!) so we just asked them to go lighter on the pours. The adults-only bar with the balcony is lovely, but service can be quite slow – we learned to order two drinks at a time so we didn’t have to wait around. The pool was really cold since it isn’t heated, but on the hot days it actually felt super refreshing! Overall, it’s a really nice hotel with very friendly staff. Perfect for both families and couples, especially since there are separate adult-only areas if you want a bit of peace and quiet.
