Amada Colossos Resort

Just returned (unfortunately) from a great stay at the Amada Colossus, second visit in last 18 months. Superb hotel with excellent food choices in main restaurant and great offerings in each of the 4 a la carte restaurants. All staff without exception are friendly, attentive, polite, courteous and extremely professional. Rooms and all public areas spotlessly clean and main terracing around pools cleaned and attended to every day. Special shout out to the F&B Manager, Michaelis and to the adult pool bar run by the inexhaustible Thannos. The daily and nightly entertainment options were of a high standard and thoroughly enjoyed. A lovely second visit that will probably lead to a third in the near future. Thanks to George, the COO, and all his hotel staff who made this such a, memorable holiday. 5*****

We recently returned from 7 days at Amada Colossos Resort in Rhodes with our little 3-year old and can honestly say it was one of the best holiday experiences that we've had this year. We stayed in a villa under the Elite Diamond All Inclusive package and everything was perfect from the beginning of our stay to the end. As soon as we arrived at the resort, we noticed genuine warmth and professionalism from everyone working at the hotel. Everyone from the concierges, restaurants, housekeeping, bar staff, etc. were proud of their jobs and made us feel special. The care and quality of what we received, in addition to the attention to detail, was remarkable. A very SPECIAL, SPECIAL mention to the following individuals: Nansy, our concierge, was outstanding in every aspect. Her attentiveness and proactive TLC made sure our every need was met always with grace and efficiency. Michalis made sure our stay was comfortable and seamless. Always greeted us with a warm smile, caring approach, and again a commitment to ensure no detail went unattended. Manos was exceptional during our stay, he had so much dedication, energy, and attention to detail. He embodied the very spirit of Amada Colossos and we genuinely appreciated him. Kostas was so much fun day after day. He catered our experience based on our preferences and was inviting and kind every moment. He felt well above the expected effort everywhere, and our son was beyond happy every time he saw him. The two brothers that worked at the Beach Bar, Georgias & Demetrus were absolutely legendary. Their energy, happiness and time spent interacting with them was uplifting as I couldn't stop smiling. Both the Italian and Greek restaurants' Maitre d's both exceeded expectations. Their welcome presence, detailed service style, and feel for presumably creating an atmosphere for a casual place yet elevating a fine dining experience with elegance made all meals have a sense of occasion and celebration had just the right flourish. The effort of professionalism and care-effort stood out. Finally, a shout out to Dimitris as our waiter at the Italian restaurant. His manner was joyful with all the elements of professionalism, his service excellent and he was even able to remember our preferences in the moment which was both noted and gave the moments a sense of specialness. There are soo many other staff members we did not get the names of but they know who they are! "Thank you for such a amazing experience". Breakfast was served perfectly every day in our villa, which was an exciting way to start our mornings. It was always well presented, and was perfectly suited to our very different cravings (anything from fresh fruit, pastries, to made to order eggs or local delicacies) it felt lavish, and like a celebration every day. The Executive Lounge was the ultimate tone of calm and luxury. There were many choices — fresh, quality snacks and meals, in addition to the drinks. One indulgence was the espresso martini, offered in a classic version and a Greek spin. It became our staple cocktail, always shiny and perfectly executed. Our dining experience was amazing. The food at the Greek and Italian à la carte restaurants were exceptional. We look forward to returning and once again being part of the magic the Amada Colossos team provided us with.

Given key and no directions given room 1001 Had to go back and ask where our room was Bar staff not very keen on serving . More interested standing at the bar chatting Cleaners take no notice of a do not disturb and walk in regardless Had access to executive lounge. Waitress phoned reception to see if we were eligible. Made us feel very unwelcome . She gave us tea and no milk and left the room. I went behind the bar to get milk and a yoghurt that was in the chiller. Very disappointing experience

Can’t fault it, staff were lovely, food lovely, cleaning staff friendly and funny. Pools all gorgeous and the slides are brilliant - even though it’s more of a kids area, we were a couple we made us of them. The bit of fun afternoon entertainment at the slide area was brilliant on the days we saw it. A little pirate and superhero show. Room was lovely, we booked the sea view and it was great. Plenty of storage which is sometimes a problem at refurbished hotels where they look nice but aren’t well designed. We couldn’t get a late check out but we’re offered a room to shower before we left so we could make the most of our last day. We will come again with the family if we can find a decent price in school holidays 😝. Thanks for all the Daiquiris. My only suggestion to improve is to have nuts and/or crisps as a snack for adults, not keen on biscuits/cakes/ice-creams so would love something savory to snack on in the day.

A brilliant hotel that offers everything! We had a wonderful stay there. Our room was very spacious, clean with a lovely comfy bed, our bathroom was great with a walk in shower, a big bath, we always had plenty of clean towels. The sea view was outstanding & our balcony very private & great. The resort was wonderful. The hotel was lovely clean & they was plenty of room, around the pool with plenty of sun-beds. We spent most of our days on the beach, there were always plenty of sun-beds. The men at the beach bar were great, there was always plenty of choice of food & drinks at the beach bar. The main restaurant had plenty of room, we were meant by a lovely lady who took our room number, you could sit inside or outside you would be shown to a table, a waitress or waiter, would come to you to ask what you would like to drink, there was never to much trouble asking for anything. Food was plentiful, good variety for everyone taste hot or cold From breakfast, lunch or dinner. We had meals in other restaurants, Asian, Greek taverna, BBQ or the Italian, which were all great, these restaurants are in the hotel & you can book your reservation on the app, which is very easy to use. The bars at the hotel were great & we were always looked after very well. We enjoyed our stay at The AMADA cololssous hotel & spa very much. We will be back.

Our favorite restaurant of our two week holiday. Food and wine were top quality. The staff were friendly and very helpful, Dimitris, Christina, Angelica were great. Come here as many times as you can

Lovely clean hotel. Staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful apart from one of the bar staff at the adults pool bar! Restaurants were all great apart from the beach restaurant. Cold food! We booked a beach gazebo (cabana) each day which was great. Slightly away from the crowds and private sunbeds and towels. Not worth paying for service in these! The lifts!! Most of the time we had to walk due to the queues at the lifts! Whoever designed the hotel needs a good shake as they are big enough for about 8 people max and once you get a pushchair in there you can only get about three people in. One was out of order for the whole week of our stay!

Myself and my husband have been staying at this hotel for the past week and leave now tonight. Honestly we couldn’t have faulted this hotel, the food was incredible and such a good selection of food with the all inclusive package. Rhodes is a beautiful country and we will definitely be back. The hotel itself is so clean & tidy, everything to perfection really. I would just like to also take this opportunity to mention a special receptionist named Demy, the most loveliest girl, so so friendly and made myself and my husband feel so welcome during our stay. Anything that we needed during our stay she had the answers to everything. This girl is honestly a diamond and our stay wouldn’t have been the same without her help. We will most definitely be back.
