Amada Colossos Resort

We had a wonderful stay, the staff really can’t do enough for you and are so friendly throughout the resort. A special mention to Thannos at the pool bar, who was fantastic and worked so hard alongside his team. Our room was lovely, with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. The only small let-down was that the mini fridge wasn’t stocked throughout the week and there was no water provided on arrival, something I’d expect from a 5-star hotel. The pool area is very impressive, and even in early October we had no trouble getting a sunbed. The adults-only area did fill up quickly, but that’s to be expected. Would have preferred quieter music at this area. Pool was cold but I expected this for October, still lots of adults and children braved the cold! Food was excellent across the board and the buffet offered a great variety of hot, tasty dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Asian restaurant, in particular, was exceptional in both food quality and service. The adults-only Tropicana bar is stylish and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing evening drink. Service was friendly but quite slow, which might be due to fewer staff at the end of the season. Very good cocktails! The hotel was very clean and well presented. It is clear that everyone works so hard to make your holiday one to remember! So a big thank you all. Overall, a lovely and relaxing break — we left feeling refreshed and well looked after.

On arrival - what a hellhole. There was a huge Sigma Software conference on at the hotel - 300ish from one company and they didn’t care whose holiday they ruined. Partying till 2/3 in the morning, chanting and singing in the bar 9 floors below, couldn’t get a drink at the bar and the buffet was a nightmare - honestly we nearly asked the leave, the hotel couldn’t control them in the slightest. Not what you want for your first holiday in 2 years with a 4 year old that couldn’t sleep because of the noise. That disaster aside - what a great hotel. As an apology for the first 3 nights we were given a free room service and extra night of a la carte. Hotel is always spotless, the staff are INCREDIBLE! A real testament to the hotel. Cleaners, bar staff, restaurant staff - even the lifeguards are so friendly and just want you to have a nice holiday 6 stars. Special mention to the child’s entertainer and bubble show on a Friday on the beach - just made it great. Our room was great, lovely and clean, big, nice view. Only criticism apart from the first 3 nights - you can’t get away from loud music all day, it would be nice if we could have it turned off or down - it’s just not as relaxing having it blasting everywhere.

We visited this hotel in October 25 for the 2nd time as we loved it so much in October 24. As always the staff are a credit to this hotel, nothing is too much trouble and every request or interaction is met with a smile. Special shout out to Thanos on the adults only pool bar as he truly is a credit to the hotel - remembering guests from previous visits and for being excellent at his job and serving everyone with a genuine smile. As previously mentioned we visited this hotel previously last year and were so excited to revisit as we had such a fantastic time but although we had a great time there were a few little niggles that put a dampener on our time away. The service in the Tropicana bar in the evenings was unbelievably slow we waited over 15 mins to have our drinks order taken on one occasion and then a further 10 mins to receive them, not what you expect in a 5* resort. The food in the main restaurant although tasty was quite repetitive and on more than one occasion the desserts were still frozen in the middle but the main issue with the food was that every evening was themed and there were few alternatives to the themes. All of the burgers and hotdogs were preprepared with cheese and sauces - plain ones would have been a nice option. All in all we had a great holiday (even the bad weather couldn't spoil it) but it seems that since last year the hotel has become a lot busier than it was previously and some of the other guests lacked manners or common courtesy which has put us off returning again

תחזוקה באגף הצפוני של המלון. היה לנו שם חדר אחד (מתוך 4). בחדר הזה היו נמלים, האמבטיה הייתה סתומה ומהמקלחת עלה ריח של ביוב.

Got the bear at 30% full, rest was foam. Asked him to top it up. He flipped and made 8 beers he basicly threw at the group and proceeded to tell us to jump of the building. 1/5 should not do again.

We stayed at this hotel with our family, including our baby, at the end of September and beginning of October. The staff was friendly and they were very kind to our baby, which we appreciated. However, there were serious downsides to our stay. In the middle of our holiday, I got a severe stomach virus. At first, we thought it was just food poisoning, but when we returned home, the rest of our group got sick as well. During our stay, we noticed many trays with leftover food left outside the doors, and now looking back, we wonder if many other guests were also sick and ordering room service — myself included. Earlier in the summer, there had already been a report in our local news about a serious norovirus outbreak at this hotel. It seems the virus was never fully eliminated. In general, the cleanliness and food quality were not at the level of a five-star hotel. There was loud music everywhere, making it almost impossible for our baby to nap by the pool. Even though it was already low season, if you didn’t reserve a sunbed between 8 and 9 AM, there were none left for the day. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

What can I say about this hotel , amazing we received exceptional service from the second we arrived The hotel is kept spotless , the staff are friendly , helpful and nothing is too much trouble Our room was amazing a sea view on the top floor , with ample storage and hangers , again kept spotless The restaurants were superb with a large range of food and as a vegetarian normally have to eat cheese salad and pizza , but not here I enjoyed a large range of vegetarian and vegan dishes which were delicious The al carte restaurants were all good the pad Thai meal in the Asian restaurant was unbelievably good Despite some reviews we never had an issue with sunbeds at the adult section of the pool I would highly recommend this lovely hotel to others and would definitely come back The lobby bar was great to enjoy a drink in the evening and a plus was it was for 16+ age group

Great hotel. Reception slightly undermanned. Most of staff very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms and fresh towels every day. Main restaurant food slightly boring but service is good and friendly - Maria is the best. Greek and Italian ala carte restaurants are definitely exceptional. Fantastic service and excellent food. Highly recommended. Christina does a great job. Best regards to her. Smoking should be allowed in dedicated areas only. Swimming pool area and the hotel beach should be smoke free. Sunbeds on the beach needs more frequent maintenance.
