NLPerfect location—close to the airport and right by a calm, beautiful beach. Spacious, lovely pool and a fun water park for the kids. Plenty of beach and pool bars for snacks and drinks. The staff were exceptionally kind, helpful, and welcoming. Highly recommended for a relaxing family getaway!
The only improvement we could suggest would be enhancing the air-conditioning in the main restaurant and adding ceiling fans to the outdoor dining area.
Great hotel. Food was really good. Night entertainment could have been better. Most nights went to Faliraki as hotel was not up to much in the way of good entertainment.
This is our second visit and once again did not disappoint all staff are very friendly warm and remembered us from last year and feel part of the family x Food is excellent in the buffet restaurant however the on site restaurants are superb Need to praise Maria Maria Polly Ki re Nicks Christina Billy Can’t wait to return
From the minute we arrived we were in awe of the hotel. The family room of 4 is something we have never stayed in before with stunning views over the sea. Beds were massive and very comfy. All inclusive food was not notch with plenty of options every day. Snack bar had gyros and burgers everyday with chicken nuggets for the kids. Plenty of desserts to choose from. Pool was massive and very well designed. Kids area in the pool. Gym wasn't bad and had most things to get you through a quick holiday workout. Kids pool looked very good, though the lazy pool just took you whatever way the wind was blowing. This wasnt very good. Also the slides were all very good but they only had 1 /4 slides open at a time We were there in the last week of closing so that might have something to do with the slides. I wouldn't say it ruined our stay but we only had the full holiday experience for 2 days before they started closing things down as it was the last week. The health bar closed A few days later the adult only bar closed. But what got us the most was the snack bar and crepe bar closed with 2/3 days to go and the crepe bar was queued everyday and very popular. But I don't think justified losing a star rating as the overall experience was very good. Again as it was the last week, there was no rush in the morning for a sunbed. This was so nice to relax in the morning. Staff were super friendly Wee shop seemed to have plenty in it but there is a large supermarket 100 yards away. Entertainment at night was your normal cheesy hotel entertainment. All in all. A great hotel that I would love to try a little earlier in the summer
Great hotel, great food and pool but the rooms are so small… according to their site it’s 23 mr but it felt like 15-17 mr. I was there for a company vacation.
We had the mostly amazing stay with our friends and family. Food was incredibly varied, with restumants also on site. Staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. It was so clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel, it’s our 2nd time of going. Thank you!
We are sending this review to all the dear management and staff at the Amada Colossos Resort, Rhodes for giving us four {4} such a wonderful 11 day holiday this October. The De - Luxe double room no 6022 we stayed in had a lively sea view. Our was kept so tidy and spotlessly clean by the most pleasant ladies Clea & Besiana, a big thank you to them. The whole resort was kept spotlessly clean at all times, which is a credit to all the cleaning staff. The food in the restaurants was excellent, with the variety and choice that was certainly a 5 star rating and that applies to the breakfast, lunch and evening meals, and those wonderful breakfast omelettes prepared in front of you by the most friendly and pleasant chefs, which i certainly now miss not having each morning. We can not praise the excellent standard of food served in all the restaurants enough. We would like to say a big thank you to all the most helpful and pleasant staff who worked tirelessly each day in all the restaurants. Eventhough it is not right to highlight one particular person when all the staff were so helpful and could not do enough for us, however, we would wish to highlight this who greeted us just before midnight on the 2nd October in the reception area after a long and tiring journey with a big smile and wonderful hugs for the 4 of us, which was very much appreciated, the ladies name is Marina, who works in the resort from 4 pm until midnight, who became our friend ad we always looked forward to bumping into her for those lovely smiles, what an asset Marina is to the Resort. Feels a little petty, but you'd think that a hotel would have some English language TV stations that were not just news. Couple of film channels? Kids channel?? Otherwise excellent.
We have just returned from a fabulous holiday with family & friends. The hotel was amazing. Rooms very clean, comfortable & with a balcony. Staff always friendly & helpful particularly the house keeping staff. Clean towels & bedding every day. Bar staff very friendly with limited waiting times. Bar staff also very helpful after ordering drinks, happy to carry our drinks to our table. Swimming pools for adults & children with ‘swim up to the bar facility’ Food in the main restaurant varied with a good selection to satisfy most appetites. Three additional restaurants providing Italian, Greek & Asian cuisine. Restaurant happy to support all dietary requirements. Daily entertainment was provided for the children. Adult entertainment was varied & very entertaining including theatre in the evening, live singers, musicians & dancing. The hotel is very spacious with two shops providing a wide variety of goods & holiday treasures. Plenty of sun beds available around the pool & on the beach & free beach towels. Local buses outside the hotel run frequently costing 2.5 euros to Rhodes old town. Tennis court, football pitch, table tennis, aqua sports, gym & spa available. On the beach activities available with adult supervision including jet skis, donut rings & boat trips. Check out day, storage for luggage & facilities for showering available. Although check out was 11am all facilities can be used up until departure time. The whole family have said the hotel & staff have made it a memorable holiday. We would highly recommend this hotel & are planning another holiday very soon.
