Asokam Beach Resort

I was in Kannur at Asokam Beach Resort, the full month of March 2023, and enjoyed every single day! The entire staff really made me feel at home. They really made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Their food is incredibly delicious! I highly recommend to skip every non-Indian dish when you are there: try the regional and local dishes! First time I had Kerala-style lunch served on a banana-leaf! The resort is located less than 10 metres from the Arabian See and surrounded by beautiful nature: coconut- and bananatrees everywhere. Staff is very, very helpful: not a single question is too much, they can tell you about shops, temples, villages you can visit nearby. Especially Rinku (she is the owner of the resort) and Dhanesh (member of the staff) made sure I had the most excellent holiday-experience: from arranging a taxi at 04:00 AM to arranging visits to temple-festivals to buying me a local dress as a good-bye gift!

Nothing: I was completely relaxed and feeling 100% comfortable and satisfied, while being there.

Breakfast was Ok, It seems that Bread and Fruits only for Foreign travellers and Indian food only for Indians.... we cannot ask for fruits or Bread... weird For the Price not worth it. Is worth only 2.5 to 3k per night per room.

Good beach facing rooms. Food was good, though options are limited Very close to beach.

Sadly people were jumping into pool without appropriate swimming costumes, this needs to be enforced. TV set-top box was not working it seems, so kid was not able to watch.
