Breakfast was fine

The room was very basic. When we arrived, I was told to come back later as it was 25 minutes before our arrival time. My husband had a knee operation and we are pensioners. They put it us in a family room. One room was upstairs and the main room downstairs. We had to ask for a better room.

Didn't partake in the breakfast. the times were not suitable to me.

The buildings need to be more maintained and cleaned.

The ocean right on the doorstep was wonderful, to fall asleep at night to the sound of the waves and wake up in the morning to a vast expansive view of the ocean was magical. The calm manner of the staff, always attentive and available but discreet and unobtrusive. The delicious breakfast buffet with all the breakfast elements on offer. The many different places to sit and have a drink or a meal. Inside the restuarant or onbthe verandah, next to the pool or closer to the bar. On the lawn or on the wooden deck - every mealtime was a different experience because of this.

The breakfast was phenomenal, highlight of my day. Location wasn’t a major issue because I used UBER all the time. The only real problem and this wasn’t the fault of the hotel, was that there was no swimming beach with lifeguards which I found a big weakness. The tidal pool just wasn’t an adequate substitute. The last two issue were the games room which I thought was inadequately stocked and I think it would have been great were there a shuttle service at a reasonable price to a number of select attractions.

Good variety and fresh breakfast. Rooms comfortable and quiet enough. Clean beach front.

Duvet too hot in Kzn climate, even in winter. Thinner one or a blanket would be more appropriate.
