Wonderful place with excellent snorkling at the housereef just outside - cosy bungalows with good beds - super food and very very Nice and cheerfull staff - the dive team is absolutely fantastic and very professional and made our diving experiences fantastic -our daughther took her PADI open water course and had excellent training by Dylan🙏Thanks a lot

The place will hold a special place in our hearts. It is very remote and required us to disconnect from the rest of the world. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a slower pace to life. The staff made us feel like family. All the meals were great and we especially enjoyed the 4:00 dessert and tea time. We enjoyed the diving and did morning, afternoon, and night dives. We felt very safe with the guides and they allowed us to travel at our own pace. The spa was also amazing. This place is made for people that do not need a fancy resort. There are times when the power is out but this is what makes it special. Grab a flashlight and continue with your activities. You can also kayak to the reef and enjoy a snorkel. Thanks for treating our family so well. We highly recommend your place!

All the food served was delicious and healthy. The location with the house reef was fantastic for snorkelling. The staff were very helpful and accommodating with activities.

The electricity is off more than half the day. It says on booking.com that it is AC in the rooms, but thats not true. Its a fan, but because of the power cut the fan didnt work during the night, which made it really hot and unbearable. A lot of noice from the staff which made it hard to relax sometimes.

Little piece of paradise with a casual, laid-back feel. Fresh and deliciously prepared food and great staff. Snorkeling was just wonderful, both at the house reef and on the boat tour to a few spots around the island. Tons of fish, lovely coral, and clear blue water . Many sea turtles as well.

There is no AC, so the room does get a bit too hot for hanging around in during the day. But you want to be in the water during the day anyway!

Expensive. Bathroom needs renovation, there's a lot of mold everywhere. Pool was extremely high in chloride and not suitable for swimming.

Our family had a lovely stay at The Village Bunaken. We were tucked away in the mangroves which was perfect for reading books and relaxing. The snorkeling is awesome, and our children had a very good time learning about the aquatic ecosystem that surrounds the island. Highlights include the friendly staff, the cozy atmosphere and the afternoon tea time.

We liked everything! We encourage the resort to look into more renewable energy supplies.
