Pelican Cove Waterfront Apartments

The pools were great, location super handy and permanent residents were very friendly too.

There were no lifts and our car didn't fit in the underground carpark which was a little frustrating. The beds were very hard in the apartment and there was no door on the ensuite

Close to shops and waterfront. Heated pool was appreciated.

There is so much I am disappointed with. There is black mould in both bathrooms, dryer didn’t dry clothes (even trying to dry 1 towel for 3 hours was still sopping wet just hot) which upon looking at reviews on our last day realised this was a complaint back in October that hasn’t been fixed, lock on the door was broken off, no main light working in the master bedroom, no working exhaust fans in bathrooms, fan only had 1 working speed (should have been 3) and sounded like a helicopter which then caused the blinds to rattle all night long so had to use a blanket to keep them still, walls paper thin, so much grime and dust everywhere. There was even mould growing on the photo in the main bedroom. Was fully booked so couldn’t even request another room. My child even found a vape under the couch - disgusting. Upon leaving even the light fitting in the hallway had fallen down. I really hope I am compensated for the health hazard that is that room which my child also got sick after 3 days of being there.

Nice spacious apartment at a great price. The kids and I Loved the heated pool at night. It was a very quiet place to stay but local to everything. Within a 10 minute drive you have parks, beach, small shops and big shopping centres, Tavern-pubs and many restaurants Making it convenient. Nice friendly environment only a few minutes away from the busy gold coast areas. Overall very happy to have stayed here.

My only complaints are that We were on the top level and the flights of stairs with luggage and kids where a killer. Also I would suggest new cleaning staff or at least a review of the current ones. As a previous hotel cleaner myself I am disappointed in the lack of actual cleaning that seems to happen these days. Not just this hotel but many I have stayed at recently lack the cleanliness they should have. My main issue was the Carpets, they definitely hadn't been vacuumed in a while or if they had been, it was a very poor job. But otherwise it was a great place to stay and I will happily return in future.

The staff were fantastic from arrival, room and grounds were extremely maintained. Location and view were amazing place was very peaceful.

There were a million stairs from the car park and absolutely no lifts and the tv was broken.

Great location, good value.

Could do with some minor maintenance eg a coat of paint.
