Shangrela Beach Resort by ARK

Beach was close to the hotel and was with easy access...turtle care centers all around and you can go watch them. Location was next to the main town so getting supplies wa easy...

Price was too high...need some renovation

Nice Pool with small section suitable for children, view on the beach and shores. Beside a very quiet road. Comfortable beds. Nice manager. A/C working very well.

I was not given the room I booked when I arrived there inspite of informing an hour before reaching. However I was given an alternate room but had to pay extra as it was a premium room. I paid and took it as I didn't want to argue. Would have appreciated if the upgrade was provided without extra charge as it was their fault for overbooking. Another issue was that AC was not working inspite of it being the high end room. However the room was clean, spacious and the view from Balcony was excellent. Staff are friendly but it is difficult to reach them as most of the times no one is seen and the phone was not answered.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Good location. Very clean. Delicious food. Felt safe as a single female traveller. Sea view and a nice pool.
