Avaton Luxury Beach Resort - Relais & Chateaux

I stayed in August 2025 in a room with a private pool and truly enjoyed the experience. The view from our room was beautiful, and having a private, cozy area with my partner made the stay feel special. The à la carte dinner and wine list were excellent - every meal was delicious, and the restaurant staff were very professional, from preparation to service. The rooms were well maintained, even if not brand new, and the property itself was lovely, with a private beach offering very comfortable sunbeds. Although the hotel is advertised as welcoming for both couples and families with children, our experience was far from relaxing. It is unacceptable that we were accommodated next to another room with a private pool where a family with a noisy child stayed. Every morning we were woken up early by children screaming and splashing in the water. On top of that, we could hear our neighbors’ voices inside their room, which highlights the poor sound insulation - an unacceptable flaw for a five-star property. I complained three times to reception during our four-day stay, but nothing was done to improve the situation. Thankfully, we spent most of our days away on full-day boat trips, otherwise the constant noise would have ruined the entire holiday. The private beach was no better: it was noisy, crowded with children, and mixed adults and couples with families, which completely destroyed any sense of peace and exclusivity. For a resort that claims to offer tranquility, this was a major disappointment. Despite the good food and location, I will not return and cannot recommend this hotel. At checkout, the front office manager offered us a free massage or similar service for our next stay - a gesture that came too late and was meaningless, as we will not be coming back. Such an offer should have been made earlier so we could actually use it, though it would not have compensated for the poor sleep and lack of relaxation we endured. Considering the high price we paid, the overall experience was completely unacceptable. This hotel does not deserve to be part of the Relais & Châteaux network, as what we experienced was entirely misaligned with the values and standards that brand represents.

Der Strand war das schönste, Frühstück auch sehr gut, aber die Unterkunft und der Service lassen bei den Preisen zu wünschen übrig. Die Halbpension müsste eigentlich Viertelpension heißen,da man nur wenige Gerichte gratis wählbar sind.

Vollkommen chaotischer und unterdurchschnittlicher Service,15 min auf 0,3l Bier für 7.50 Euro gewartet,danach wieder nicht bedient.. Erst als wir unser Wasser selbst aus dem Kühler holten,kam jemand und übernahm.. Vom zuständigen Oberkellner nicht mal eine Entschuldigung und nur arrogante Blicke.. In der Junior Suite mit Pool links und rechts hört man jedes Wort, einer telefonierte den halben Tag laut.. Papardelle mit Trüffel für fast 40 Euro war eine Pampe,da fragt man sich wo Michelin da seine Masstäbe setzt… Und wenn man alle Bewertungen anschaut,die kritisch sind, wird in der Antwort vom Management alles übergangen und schöngefärbt .. Nie wieder,für den Preis gibts viel bessere Anlagen( Vielleicht Eagles Palace🤷‍♂️)

The location is very beautiful! I was looking for peace and relaxation, and at Avaton I found exactly what I wanted. The staff is very friendly and professional. I had an accommodation with a private pool, and initially I thought I would regret booking it with a pool, because it was already September, and it was getting cold outside in the evening. But everything was excellent and I also enjoyed the relaxation offered by a private pool. Parking is very close to the accommodation, very useful for those traveling by car.

I didn't have any discomfort, or anything that bothered me!

Пляж з пологим приємним, піщаним заходом. Море тепле, прозоре (вересень). Дерев'яні лежаки з м'яким матрацом. Сервіс на пляжі зразковий. Сніданок - стандартний. З нами трапився неприємний інцидент на сніданку, але готельний менеджмент, зробив усе, щоб вибачення були нами прийняті. Вид з вікна медитативний. Тераса мебльована. Білизна вишукана. До пляжу з нашого самого верхнього рівня можна було дістатися на гольфкарі.

Відсутність біде чи гігієнічного душу. Відсутність у ванній кімнаті розетки, жодної)) Можна пережити))
