Beautiful location on the coast. Friendly.

It's a hostel, so shared bathrooms (not on same floor) and shared kitchen. Expensive for a hostel, but that's the area.

"Superb"

This was a good surprise! It was summer muggy and rainy on the afternoon and evening of our stay. Our room faced the water and I slept with the window open! It is a rustic hotel with a huge back porch and lots of rockers. It is a pleasant 1/2 mile walk to restaurants and a grocery store. Facilities are available for you to cook your own meals and clean up after. Coming over on the ferry was a new experience!

We loved everything. We felt at home but in such a special place. We learned a lot about history and enjoyed the waves crashing on the shore all throughout the night. Would stay again

My companion & I are retired. I’m sure this place is wonderful for younger, hardier folks. Steps to the porch and to the second floor rooms were quite steep.
