De Malee Pool Villas

The facility looks great, the villa was large with allot of space for family of 5. The private garden and pool were great and gave us total privacy to rest after long days of attractions. Room was cleaned every day with new set of towels and fresh drinking water. Breakfast is good but keep in mind that you have to pick a pre-ordered set for breakfast and give in advance the breakfast time (a day before). Staff are really nice and replied quickly to every request we had (by WhatsUp massage or call). There is a free shuttle service to au nung beach or night market on certain hours which we used every day. We also ordered a driver for a day trip from reception, the driver was accurate, polite and had really good English. The area is remote from the main tourist area but have a supermarket and few local resteraunt near by. Overall experience was very good.

- if you want to be in the center of Ao nung beach than this is not the place for you since you can't walk over there and it's a 10 minutes drive by took took. Hotel's shuttle was really convinient for us.

The staff were extremely friendly, and the place was extraordinary with exceptional privacy. Will definitely visit again.

Relatively Small and intimate hotel

The villa consisted of two separate rooms on two floors, with no internal access connecting them. The living room was accessible only from one of the rooms, so it felt more like two adjacent rooms rather than a single cohesive villa. Several things were in need of repair, such as the rain shower and the bathtub. Additionally, the air conditioner was very loud and had limited functionality, either being too cold or too warm, with no option to set a comfortable temperature. The private pool could benefit from better maintenance and care. One major issue was the outdoor staircase connecting the two floors. While the stairs themselves were not slippery, they are uncovered, so moving between the rooms in the rain required using an umbrella. The steps were unusually high and not of a standard height, which made them difficult to navigate. Unfortunately, both of my children fell and were injured while using the stairs, which was a significant concern. Moreover, the staff seemed more focused on ensuring we paid on time and provided them with what they needed, rather than showing a willingness to care for or prioritize our needs as guests. This attitude detracted from the overall experience.

The staff are warm and friendly and they took great care throughout our sleep here! Stayed at the gorgeous grand pool villa and it was fantastic. An extremely short 3-5min ride away from the bars and night market. Everything was great, less the awkwardly low-hanging light at the wash basin.

Would be even better if there is some incense to keep the mosquitoes away. The plug for tub does not seem to work

Late check out showers were disgusting. Dirty mattress in room where they offer you a shower , no hot water. Video taken.
