nice room, great to have a pool off the room, helpful staff, quiet and interesting location. great to have the shuttle to the beach.

A bit far from the city, hotel has shuttles, but on specific times, so required us to spend on taxi. Breakfast was ok.

The staff was AMAZING. So helpful and kind. The resort is clean, peacefull and quite. The villa I stayed in was beautiful and well equipped.

You need a ride to get to downtown Ao Nang beach, since it's not within a walking distance. Nevertheless, the staff was always accommodating to provide free transportation to downtown Ao Nang and even picking us up when we wanted to go back to the hotel. Other than that, we felt like the breakfast could have been better, not because it doesn't taste good, but because you have to pre order in advance one of three types of breakfasts, while I much prefer buffet serving at the dining room.

De Malee pool villas may not match the tranquil jungle setting portrayed in the photos. Despite offering private pool villas, they are located by a busy road, not in a serene jungle. Check-in was quick, and the welcome sign on the bed was a nice surprise. The staff organized a birthday celebration for us with a cake, which was a highlight. But this is where the positive experience ends.

The villas lack a garden area and are surrounded by concrete walls. While the rooms initially appear nice, they require considerable maintenance. In our villa, we encountered moving pool tiles, ceiling holes, frequent power fuse issues, and a non-functional ceiling fan. Despite raising these concerns with the staff, their response was limited to apologies. Upon arrival, we were not informed about how to use the jacuzzi, nor were we aware it was available. The breakfast ordering system, requiring submission the day before, seems reasonable for room service, but special requests are often disregarded. Despite notifying the staff of my bell pepper allergy three days in advance, I received a suitable meal only after repeated reminders. Basic condiments like salt, pepper, and sugar were also absent from our breakfast orders, necessitating daily visits to the restaurant. Regarding cleanliness, unless specific requests are made, only the bed is attended to. Despite a six-night stay, the floors remained untouched, and foot towels were not replaced. Pool towels required repeated requests for changing. Communication with the accommodation, whether during booking, via email, or WhatsApp, was practically non-existent. Overall, the service fell far short of expectations for luxury accommodation. Unless significant improvements are made, I cannot recommend this establishment to others, simply because the price is not worth it.

Lovely quiet property, feels like our own. Staff was super helpful, villas were spacious and they had a buggy to take us to the main areas. Also, the massages here were probably the best I had in Thailand. Price range is similar to outside and they really go the extra mile.

Breakfast was a bit meh!
