West Cliffs Ocean and Golf Resort

Property was excellent and perfect for a family of four. There was regular cleaning and when we had any issues the team were quick to respond and update you.

Nothing to be honest it was what we wanted and expected.

The villa was beautiful and we had a super stay overall. Rooms were spacious and the views around the golf course and sea were lovely. However, we were approached very rudely by the neighbour next door who claimed we shouldn’t be making noise outside on our holiday. This was a real shame. As a holiday let, this shouldn’t be an issue. Especially when the villa is advertised for families.

Wonderful space for us and our two teenage boys. It was nice to have a pool on the property, though it is small. Easy walking distance to the beach and the restaurant. Lovely location and condition.

The place is amazing, incredible views. The villa is beautifully designed and spacious. It’s truly a gorgeous location. The beach is breathtaking (but public). Breakfast is lovely. This place must be incredible for golf enthusiasts!

If you don’t like nature - it’s not the place for you. We had a dead frog in the pool upon arrival. The lovely staff took it out but then we realized we had a frog colony in our pool - so we couldn’t use it. The kitchen quickly filled up with an insane amount of ants. Since we’re not in the habit of killing other creatures, all this posed a problem - mainly not being able to use the pool we spent so much on. It’s not a resort per se - it’s a golf resort. There are no actual activities. We planned to participate in many activities that appeared on the site - but they were all external. We were given complementary tennis court time, a lovely gesture, but throughout our stay there were no available slots in the court or the rackets were broken (this was the answer we got at reception!). In general, they are facing home owners and not tourists, they don’t really know how to deal with random guests. The lovely cleaning staff arrived in the evening before our departure- a strange timing. Since the villa is close to the ocean, the towels never dry, so why wait three days before changing them? Updating that two weeks after our stay - we still have not received any sort of acknowledgment from the property re: frogs in our pool.
