Masseria San Paolo Grande

The staff here are amazing, we had the place almost to our selves this spring and were treated like family. The level of service was incredible. The cooking class was great, the lounge is a lovely place to curl up in if it’s raining, and the food was excellent. They also make their own wine and olive oil, which we both bought to take home. Beds were very comfy and room (Terrace) beautiful. Can’t comment on pool area as it wasn’t yet open, but it looked nice! Great location for exploring the local area.

We loved everything! Perfect location in the nature. Very quiet. Beautiful very old architecture (from 1400…). Extremely comfortable room. Excellent cuisine. And perfect staff, very sympathetic team. We appreciated in particular Pasquale, a very professional Maitre d’hôtel for dinner.

This is a working farm with a genuine emphasis of looking after the land and stock on it with full regard to the environment. The staff were attentive,professional and a credit to the Masseria. The food was simply superb at all meal times. The location was exactly what we wanted---tranquil and isolated. You do need a car though .

La struttura e’ molto bella . Gentili tutti . Piscina stupenda anche se molto bassa . Il posto e la natura sono incantevoli . Sempre ventilato . Alba e tramonti senza fiato .comonda come posizione tra i due mari : ionio e tirreno

Colazione manca un buffet . Pranzo ottimo cibo poca organizzazione e tempi lunghi di attesa .Bar della piscina vuoto spesso senza personale a disposizione . Si potrebbe fare molto di più perché il cibo è la posizione sono eccezionali . Camera nella torre con scale pericolose e pochissima luce . Meglio le camere esterne .

QuandoAbbiamo prenotato la masseria nel mese di dicembre per 6 giorni Booking faceva notare che sarebbe stata l’ultima stanza, arrivati sul posto , la masseria molto carina , ma non c’era nessuno all‘infuori del personale , la colazione deludente , sempre la stessa tutte le mattine , veniva servita dai camerieri , non c’era un buffet dove si poteva scegliere cosa ti piaceva . In base al prezzo che abbiamo pagato siamo rimasti delusi . La sconsiglio

Loved the overall look of the property it felt very warm and cozy especially now as it’s winter. The restaurant is fantastic and the service is phenomenal the staff are very attentive and the food is all created or sourced from the Masseria. We loved staying here, and the dogs on the property were the cherry on top.
