Elixir Hills Suites Resort and Spa

The breakfast buffet was very good and they had different menus on both days. The jacuzzi was good. The room and its amenities were very good. They have access to a small waterfall and the forest type environment is wonderful for a short break.

The TV was not working, and it took them more than 24 hours to fix the issue. They should have considered a re-imbursement since they did promise that. The swimming pool was too cold. the bathroom in the jacuzzi room did not have a lock on the door, can prove challenging with family. The hotel could suggest best direction of getting there via email a day before the stay. cause there are multiple routes and the route I took to get there was not the best.

Rooms are great, dinner is great.

Shortest route (Google Maps) to the resort from Kochi is horrible, you jeed a jeep or 4wd to travel through that road, large potholes, narrow and dirt road, have to take the long route via Munnar town. Dinner is great but breakfast is below average, restaurant is short staffed. Cleanliness in the restaurant is something they ignore, there are flies everywhere and tables are not cleaned regularly. I think this is due to the restaurant being short-staffed. Food lacked the wow factor, it was just average or sometimes below average. There were power outages during our stay. They gave some lame excuse for these power saying it was a fault with EB. Why should I care? When I'm paying more than 10k a night, the least I can expect is power backup. Absolutely horrible customer service. The guy at the reception, I think he was the manager, gave a shrewd sorry with no empathy in his face, no willingness to hear out our issues and no promise to do better next time. Absolutely horrible staff. Also take towels, there are no towels in the rooms. Uhm, 10k room and no towels?! Yeah it is true. We asked for towels and they gave us pool towels that smelled bad.

I like the atmosphere of the resort and the attitude of the staff. From the welcome desk we get a warm welcome, the staffs was very nice.we enjoyed the stay for 2 nights.from welcome desk vijayalakshmi and rafik☺️☺️ was very helpful, from restaurant rahul and all of the staff they all are so helpfull and awsome.hop to come again soon.😊😊😊😊😊😊

Pool was not clean, all other guests were allowed with normal clothes - hence making water full of fibers. Need a lift from restaurant to ground floor please.

The ambience and facility is top notch.

What could have been improved is to include more food options like authentic Kerala meals with more fish items in alacarte.
