Avadale Wayanad - Stag Groups Not Allowed

I had a fantastic stay at this property! The treehouse experience was truly unique and memorable, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful ambiance. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with opportunities for trekking right within the premises, which added a sense of adventure to our stay. A special mention to Manager Sunil and the staff, who were extremely kind, attentive, and always ready to help, making our visit even more comfortable. The food was delicious and added to the overall experience.

Swimming pool should have had a heater as climate is always cold. More recreational activities such as spa, outdoor games etc to be included within the resort as its a bit away from town. Slippers could have ben provided.

It is really wonder full stay experience, Extremely calm atmosphere.

The houses are big and inside feels comfortable. The place is perfect for spending time inside the nature, calm and relaxing.

The property offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. We took the breakfast and dinner, the food was good, but I would suggest adding some fresh fruits for the breakfast.

The drop from resort to parking was horrible as we planned to go to another place for one another Trip.Morning itself informed the manager that we are vacating but waited for 3 hours for the jeep to come and pick up.So our entire planning was spoiled.But the managers behaviour was not good .Try for some another properties if you want relaxed vacation

The location is stunning. The views are very pretty. Very calm and tranquil. The staff are very gracious and helpful. The grounds and lodge was super clean and very tastefully made and furnished. All set in a coffee and black pepper plantation. A great place to really relax. I will be sad to leave. One of my favourite places we have visited whilst in Southern India.

It's no problem, but be prepared for an uphill off road transfer from car park to the resort. A jeep transfer can be provided when you need to ascend or descend to the town. You will get better views of the plantation as you travel. Everyone says though, it's worth it!

Food

The property is situated at a secluded place and we need to use a jeep to go up. It is a really good place for a perfect getaway. The rooms and property are really good. Staff (sunil, ravi, thomas, etc) are too good. Food was decent.

I would not recommend this property to anyone looking to explore wayanad as it is located at a secluded place and going up and down is a big issue. I would suggest some other stays at kalpetta if you are looking to explore wayanad and are not looking for a peaceful getaway.

The place is on an elevation and from there the views are beautiful, secluded from the hustle and bustle of the city its very calm.

Since its isolated and the to and fro is managed by their jeeps, you have to rely on the food being prepared there which is at best average or on the jeep being available. We had to wait for almost 30 mins in the parking below the hill as the jeep was waiting for some staff getting a motor repaired. On one of the days there was a corporate group and food got over by the time we reached the dining area. They took some time to prepare more. The place is no doubt beautiful and would be great if they can fix these niggles.

The location was perfect. Away from the crowd. U can see the stars in silence. Food was also nice.

The road was adventurous but it should be paved. Multiple ups and downs will feel uncomfortable.
