Great place it stay. It is on top of a hill. Service is amazing with very cheerful staff. Clean rooms. Awesome view of the surroundings. The jeep trek (2 km) on the hill looks risky at first but it is very interesting. It takes about 20-25 minutes for those 2 km. But you will love it if you like adventure.

It is better to keep your travel To & From the resort at the minimum. The last 2 km has to be done in Jeep only and it take 20-25 minutes ( you cannot take your car) so you would not want to go out or come into the resort more than once or twice per day. Because this 2km becomes an overhead. If you are aware of this fact, then you will enjoy the trip. It is not as simple as just travelling as and when you want. You have to plan your day correctly to adjust to this overhead.

Staff and location are outstanding, kudos to managers and all the restaurant and support staff, they have managed to keep the place in a really good shape and catering to guests despite being quite remote, terrain is difficult to reach but the drivers managed to go as smooth as possible in jeeps. Couple of previous reviews have been heard and I see improvements recommended by travellers which is a great attitude to progress. Keep it up!

The place has high costs per night, perhaps a special activity or adventure could help justify that, or a bit more room inclusions like other competing properties in kerala, i am sure avadale team could come up with interesting inclusions given their experience into hospitality!
