Toraja Misiliana Hotel

Honestly the architecture, the grounds were really nice and the swimming pool, it all looks lovely.

The place is old and the rooms could do with a modern touch. The hot water is on limited supply so don’t try run a bath. The bath didn’t have a plug that would fit and the bath taps don’t work.

Garden and quiet

The hotel may have been of high quality in 1994, but by 2024, it will have undergone an enormous amount of renovation.

Big spacious room. Decent breakfast. Displayed the culture of the region. Fantastic to see examples of local traditional houses in the garden. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

My room was a little shabby - needed to be redecorated.

One of the staff forced me to pay using one bank account while in the information there arw other bank accounts too.

Nothing at all to be honest, however the breakfast options were quite decent

Extremely old and dirty place, towels were grey, no privacy at all in the room, can hear all the conversation of the other villas. Restaurant a total fail, uninterested staff- tables not cleared, gave us a drink pick up chart instead of a drink menu, all the western vegetarian options were not available, 20 Minutes after ordering, the staff member came to inform that pizza was not available ( even tho it was advertised on the main menu board at the entrance on the restaurant) at check in the staff were chit chatting and uninterested in our presence. Only the bellman tried his utmost to assist us. Horribly maintained and managed hotel, stay away.

Everything. Most beautiful hotel in Toraja. Quiet. Breakfast was good. The hotel owner is super friendly! Loved it so much.

I wish I had stayed longer :(
