Lovely quiet location with views over golf course. Owner messaged the morning of arrival to give all the details and it was ready very early so we could go anytime we were ready, and checked in on checkout day - really friendly and helpful. Comfy and everything you needed provided. Parking right next to the lodge. Great location to explore Northumberland from as 15mins from Alnwick, good access to coast with beautiful beaches and some good national trust properties. Little village shop 2 miles away for supplies and larger shops in Alnwick for a longer stay. It was clean and we liked that there was a Dyson on the wall handy to quickly hoover up crumbs and grass etc to keep it clean while we were there. Felt really spacious having the full bathroom with a bath and the ensuite with a shower. WiFi was good. Didn’t use the balcony as the weather wasn’t great but would have been lovely to sit out on in the evenings.

Maybe a bit more info left in the lodge about the area and the lodge including expectations on checkout, but that’s being a bit picky really, all was very good.

the cabin was great, very clean and extremely comfortable very spacious, location on site was excellent almost felt remote, with great views overlooking the 14th green, and been able to watch deer from the balcony on an evening was a bonus, location to attractions like Alnwick castle and gardens, Bamburgh castle, and Cragside house in the local area was spot on.

Loved everything about the property. It is in a beautiful location overlooking the golf course and within easy walking distance to the nearby pub, park etc. We were lucky to see lots of deer just outside the balcony. The cabin has everything you need and is well equipped. Gary was in contact over the weekend to see how things were going and if we needed anything. A great host. We would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back.

We have just returned from a 2 day break. The lodge I considered to be sited on the best position/ location on the site. It has a large wrap around veranda with amazing views and was bathed in sunshine from sunrise until sunset. It was perfect for dining and relaxing outdoors and to be able to watch the deer roam freely on the golf course and to admire and appreciate the distant views. The lodge is spacious and open plan with a comfortable lounge/diner and well equipped kitchen and a family bathroom. There are 2 large bedrooms, one with ensuite. The beds we found to be very comfortable and we slept restfully. The site was maintained to a good standard and very peaceful if you were looking to have a relaxing stay, which we were. There are plenty of places of interest to visit a short drive away.The clubhouse was approx a 15-minute stroll away. Gary is a great host, friendly, informative, and very responsive to any messages. We would definitely return.

Beautiful lodge, stunning views very spacious. Amazing balcony.. very clean and comfortable lodge with everything you need. bath was a bonus for the wife. well stocked kitchen. all in all a fantastic peacful place to stay on a very well kept park. Stunning
