The resort is amazing for relaxing. It is very calm, it has a great pool, and a jetty to relax on. The Sri Lankan dinner was some of the best food of our whole trip. Shibi was very tentative and super friendly.

The bed was a bit too hard for our tastes.

We liked Anawasal a lot. Unique place next to sea offering really nice accomodation and great service. You can just take it easy and relax.

Everything was absolutely beautiful We couldn’t dream of a better stay to finish our 3 weeks trip in Sri Lanka The property is very peaceful Well maintained and Shibi is very present making sure everything runs smoothly We ate almost every meals there and they were healthy and varied. Amazing place where the staff makes you feel right at home. Shibi (the owner) wants to help you with anything you can possibly ask for. The homemade food is delicious, the place gorgeous and everything is so comfortable. One of my favorite places I've been to on a holiday!

We had a wonderful stay at Anawasal at the start of January. The boutique resort is beautiful and so peaceful, something very relaxing about the outdoor bathroom too! Shibi and the team looked after us so well, arranging excursions for us, dinner on the jetty under the stars, and sharing tips for our onward journey. Breakfast lunch and dinner was AMAZING every single day. It was the perfect chilled out start to our honeymoon. The bar was set very high for the rest of our trip! We really liked Kalpitiya peninsula too, it was lovely exploring and was not touristy at all.

The best about Anawasal is really the host Shibi. She is the most helpful, pragmatic, sweet, funny host that we have ever encountered - thank you Shibi for making your magic happen 🤍✨ We loved that they have a good connection to the kite school next door so that we were completely in good hands from morning to evening. We spent a week and could have easily spent more time at Anawasal 🤞🏾❤️

Beds are relatively hard 😏

This place has been my far our favourite stay in Sri Lanka, the setting and the vibe is like no other so relaxing, gentle, peaceful and with the most amazing food. Right on the beach you don’t need shoes, the pool is clean and refreshing and the kitchen serves the most delicious food and drinks anytime of day

A very relaxing stay, morning yoga was wonderful and the salt water pool a treat.

One of the greatest places we have ever been. The whole property is so beautiful and serene. The hosts are extremely lovely and they take perfect care of their guests, organize everything you want and need and make you feel more than welcome. They even did our laundry free of charge. We had lovely food and amazing smoothies. The rooms are stylish and cozy with a unique bathroom. For kiting there is a school right next door and they offer daily yoga classes with amazing view. Thank you Shibi and Dinesh.

We had a bit of an issue with the matrass being really hard, but forgot all about it as everything else was perfect.
