I can absolutely recommend this place. Shibi, Dinesh & the team make sure that you have everything you need, without being to pushy. I extended my stay, because I felt so relaxed and comfortable here. The food is great :)

AMAZING staff, excellent food and all-around great vibes

This was by far the best accommodation of our trip. Shibi and Dinesh were such great hosts and made us feel very welcome during our stay. It is a really special and calm place. The food was amazing and the kitesurf lessons from the resort next door helped us a lot to learn the first steps. It’s really nice how both resorts let the guests make use of both facilities/activities. That’s also nice for socializing. Would definitely recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Everything was amazing, the hosts were lovely and so helpful, the food was delicious best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, it is peaceful and beautifully decorated, Shibi is a brilliant yoga teacher. For Christmas Day they lit up the jetty for us to have a private dinner - all so wonderful! There is also a brilliant kite surfing school next door which takes you by boat every day to the lagoon. We stayed 4 nights and didn’t want to leave.

Very nice hosts and personel. Nice bar next door at the kite center. Morning yoga. Great dive center close. Great bungalow. Fantastic food. Etc etc

Felt like home. People are so kind, the food was really good, perfect ending of our vacation, a few days we totally crashed at this place. The pool is amazing and we felt really comfortable and at home. We extended our stay 2 times. Just go there is our advice!

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Anawasal Resort. From the moment we arrived, it felt like visiting family. Shibi and Dinesh, the hosts, were incredibly welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. They took care of us in the most remarkable way. The food at the resort was absolutely delicious, with a variety of mouthwatering dishes to indulge in. I must mention that the yoga sessions led by Shibi were exceptional. Shibi's passion for yoga shone through, creating a harmonious and transformative practice. We left feeling refreshed, balanced, and grateful for the opportunity to practice yoga under her guidance. The experience at Anawasal was so incredible that we couldn't resist returning for a few more days at the end of our holiday. Moreover, for those who enjoy kitesurfing, the duotone kitesurfing spot is conveniently located just on the other side of the gate. We highly recommend Anawasal Resort for a truly memorable and rejuvenating stay.
