Everything! From the moment we arrived we were so happy that we chose to stay at Anawasal. The location is beautiful and feels very relaxing. Shibi and her husband and the rest of the staff were all very friendly whilst also providing excellent service. We have a 6 month old baby travelling with us, and they were very flexible with timings for meals, trips, yoga etc to suit our needs , even serving us breakfast as late as we wanted (great when you are jet lagged after an overnight flight and in need of a lie in). The food was absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed every meal, and would particularly recommend the Sri Lankan cuisine which they serve each evening (all prepared freshly each day). I also did a couple of yoga classes with Shibi which were really good and such a beautiful place to do the class (right next to the lagoon). The location also felt very safe for our baby to stay in and we particularly enjoyed using the pool with him.

Very nice accommodation, good food, nice little pool area. As can be seen from the other applications, it is the people who make this place something special. We started our Sri Lanka trip there, very good to relax and unwind. The boat trip through the lagoon to the beach is also recommended. Spectacularly, we were able to observe a white-bellied sea eagle chasing a snake. The eagle and other birds can be easily observed from the jetty.

Great location, fantastic view over the lagoon! The perfect place to relax and enjoy the nature. We took the kajak in the morning before breakfast, what a great way to start the day! The picture is taken from our room!

Very friendly hosts. Amazing food.

Small place, very nice and intimate. Clean room with extravagant outside wetroom. Our hosts, a young couple, were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious too. Highly recommended.

Wonderful people & overall experience!

Absolutely calm, relaxed and friendly space. Run by very kind family who makes your stay problem free. A boat to a nice kite spot goes a few times per day.

Beautiful property by the lagoon. Nice room with outdoor shower. Super nice pool and areas to relax. Peaceful and relaxing vibe. Yoga at the deck in the morning was so amazing, the staff and owners are super friendly and really serviceminded and the food nice. We will come back for sure☺️🙌🏻
