Grand Hotel Holiday Resort

Had a massage with Peggy and she was very good and I very much enjoyed it! So relaxing and she did an amazing job for my muscles tension.

Fantastic hotel in a great location with easy walk to Stalis beach and shops. Also lots of excursions available. The hotel has 3 different pools to enjoy, entertainment team are friendly and welcoming with lots of activities. Food is very varied and delicious. We are at the Agean restaurant one night too and the food was amazing, especially the lamb shank! All the staff have been incredibly helpful and friendly, especially the transfer drivers in the cars! We enjoyed spa treatments with Maria and Georgia too on a rainy day and they were professional and experienced. Thoroughly relaxing. The bedroom was large, clean, with a balcony and good bathroom, plus air con, fridge and all facilities you need. The view was incredible of the sea and mountains. I would recommend this stay to anyone as it's great value for money!

This resort is amazing! The three pools are probably the best part, though the water can be a bit chilly. It’s easy to get used to it, though. The staff are lovely, and everything is just great here. When I was there, I really recommend renting a quad. We drove into the mountains, and the views were absolutely stunning. I’ll pin some photos for you.

Clean and warm hotel, with helpful staff,. especially the hostess girl in the breakfast room. Nice breakfast with little changes everyday, all the personnel willing to refill until late hours of breakfast.

Maybe they could add some more orthopedic pillows for special occasions

We stayed as a family of 5 in late June/early July. The hotel itself was lovely, the rooms were clean and we had a balcony with a view! Getting a sun lounger - at the start of our stay it was a little quieter and we could find at least 3 together which was sufficient as the kids didn’t sit down for long! Towards the end we tended to find loungers when we went to breakfast and put our things on them so we could return after eating otherwise we might have struggled. Entertainment - there was a very enthusiastic guy leading the entertainment both during the day and in the evening, I honestly don’t know how he kept going! Around the pool there were games daily, aqua fit and water polo. There were other activities too such as Pilates - possibly the best view I’ve ever had doing Pilates! There could have been a bit more for teens, and it was a shame the games room wasn’t in the centre of the hotel but a bit further out, but that was only a tiny thing. The gym was very small and no air con so advise getting there before the day gets too hot! Layout - the photos always give the impression it’s quite compact but if you aren’t near the centre then it’s a long walk up a big hill! Luckily there was a van / golf cart to help out. Kids club - a bit hit and miss if your child isn’t very confident. My daughter missed out on going to the water slides as she hadn’t heard them say what was happening! Water park - fine for kids and teens enjoyed it for a little while but not thrilling. The lifeguards were excellent though, really friendly, helpful and good when my son ripped open a scab on a slide! Food - this was a big one for us. We had never been on an all inclusive before this and were worried it was going to be a bit samey. But we were pleasantly surprised! The food was really good, varied every day and most importantly for us they were very accommodating for a coeliac. When we arrived we let them know and they showed my son all the things he could have. They were also happy to prepare gluten free bread, pizza and pasta too, and it really seemed no bother. Plus a lot of the food available was naturally gluten free so he was able to eat pretty much what he wanted. If you are looking to hire a car this can be done easily from the hotel for a reasonable price, but there are also a multitude of car / quad bike/scooter hire companies on the doorstep and bus connection is just outside the hotel. All in all a nice hotel, good food and friendly staff.
