Grand Hotel Holiday Resort

We have recently come back from our stay on the 4th of October for 7 days. We were in 1514 Positive points Food was good including the buffet Greek and Italian . Rooms were clean and well kept Bar staff and internal transfer staff were great . Negative points Buffett was a very minimal selection Pools were freezing Toilets in the hotel sometimes locked at busy times Entertainment staff were rude especially the main bald headed Italian guy . Overall was a good holiday but we wouldn’t stay here again due to other hotels we have stayed at on the island ( Creta Maris)

Very impressive looking hotel. Lovely friendly and extremely hardworking staff we stayed in block 200 which is in excellent position between the main pool and the adult (quiet) pool. I definitely wouldn’t be happy if we were in one of the apartments at the back of the complex (blocks 10+) as it’s a steep hill although there is a little bus sort of thing that is running all day taking people to and from their rooms. Our room was modern and clean. Cleaned to an excellent standard daily. Main restaurant food was nice. (We were all inclusive) always something for everyone. Again staff there were friendly and hardworking and it was nice and clean Hotel is situated between Hersonissos and Stalis with a shuttle from the hotel to and from Stalis (which is really nice and gorgeous beach, lots of nice restaurants) Entertainment at night was good catered for all really. Only downside to the hotel is at night it is waiter service so you can be waiting a little while for drinks - this is not the waiters fault they are very busy just could probably do with more staff. We went beginning of October so some staff had already left for their winter jobs leaving them short staffed at times - but who can blame them. Lots of drinks choice for all inclusive and decent measures of spirits. We were adults only but would say this is a good hotel for families there are the water slides and water play area towards the back of the complex with a snack bar attached. A games room with pool table football etc in there. The amphitheater with nightly entertainment a try tennis court behind the children’s pool.

Spa was perfect had the Candle Massage by Georgia she was very professional and made me feel comfortable throughout the massage

Amazing service with the spa, so relaxing and fair price, service was very relaxing thank you very much Maria F for the relaxing massage would definitely recommend it. Candle massage was exceptional

All in all us was a good stay. The staff was lovely, the roons were big and comfortable, great pools, good food. However it wasn't the greatest all inclusive hotel I've been to. All inclusive ends pretty early, there are no snacks all around, only at the kids pool which is far from the main pool and even there the variety is low. There was almost no food for the little ones. No nuggets, pizza or esc. and my kid ate mostly pasta. So in the great experience it was good but in comparison to others all inclusive in crete it wasn't the best

לא היה כמעט מגוון של אוכל לילדים באף ארוחה מקסימום פסטה שחזרה על עצמה שלוש פעמים ביום. בברים אין אוכל למעט בר אחד שנמצא במעלה הגבעה ליד בריכת הילדים, מיקום ממש מוזר ומבאס כי זה לא ליד הבריכה העיקרית. גם שם היצע האוכל די דל. אין תחושה של פינוק של הכל כלול- אין הפי האוור, אין בר קרפים וגלידות בכל מקום וגם ההכל כלול מסתיים בשעה די מוקדמת. התחושה הכללית היא שיש מלונות הכל כלול שהם הרבה יותר מפנקים

The spa is great. Clean and good facilities. I had a back, neck and shoulder massage done by Georgia. It was great. Very relaxing and the best way to end my holiday. What a lovely treat.

We returned after a gap of about 7 years. So lovely to see some of the same staff, which says a lot about the hotel. The general surroundings are clean and well maintained, the restaurant is always welcoming and the food is always good. The only slightly disappointing experience was the Italian à la carte. Although there was nothing wrong with the food, it didn’t feel very special, in fact the buffet dining was better. The hospitality at this hotel is so great. Well done to all the team We opted for a massage in the wellness centre and what a pleasant experience for us. In 60+ years orbiting this planet, it was my first massage and what a pleasure it was. Welcoming and incredibly professional. So much so, we booked another session.

Just came back from an amazing stay at the Grand Hotel Holiday Resort! Room was lovely with a great balcony, extremely comfy bed and room was cleaned every morning. One thing to note though - cleaners come very early in the morning so put your 'do not disturb' sign out when you go to sleep if you don't want to be woken up at 8am. Staff were all smiley, helpful and extremely friendly which we really appreciated! Big shout out to Maria in the restaurant who helped my Boyfriend with his severe dairy allergy. He was made to feel very comfortable and safe when trying the different meals the hotel had to offer! We highly recommend this hotel if you suffer with allergies - they will take you through each dish one by one and let you know if it is suitable based on your allergy. We personally had no issues with possible cross contamination. Food was really good in our opinion with a large variety of things to choose from - all very flavourful with different dishes every day! We never went hungry and enjoyed every dining experience :) Drinks were not the best though, the wine wasn't great and cocktails on offer for all inclusive were all very sweet - the juices used did not taste good at all. Mithos beer was good though and the soft drinks available were nice. The resort itself was beautiful (lovely pools and always got 2 sunbeds together to sit at - there was no sunbed reserving when we were staying here!) The transfer to the beach was a great thing to do. We spent 2 days at the beach and paid €10 for 2 sunbeds with an umbrella each time which we thought was reasonable. The sea was lovely and we spent hours jumping in the waves. We also paid €10 for a 5 minute taxi to Hersonissos for a couple of nights out which we highly recommend! It's a lovely beach town with lots of bars to enjoy. Overall, I really recommend this hotel if you're thinking of staying near Hersonissos. The staff especially made our time extra special and we cannot thank them enough!
