Grand Hotel Holiday Resort

My husband booked myself and my daughter in for a massage each, which was lovely! Victoria, Maria F and angie were all incredibly lovely and looked after me and my daughter beautifully. If I could come back every day I would!

The hotel is beautiful with three pools catering for families, young children and adults who want to relax in peace 😁. The hotel is situated on a hillside with rooms spread over levels which could be challenging at times, certainly gets your steps going, however there was always transport available all through the day and evening if you didn’t want to walk. Rooms lovely and spacious with all amenities you would expect. Maid service excellent and the cleanliness throughout the hotel was of the highest standard. A little away from the nearest town and beach, however again the hotel runs a shuttle mini bus throughout the day. Food was delicious with dinning room and snack bars depending on preference. We were all inclusive and service at the bars was excellent and very efficient. Very little queuing at the bars and choice of beverages was wide ranging, with a lot of cocktails available, as were the ice-creams. The water park was an added bonus for the grandchildren with lifeguard supervision in attendance at all times - felt very safe 😁. The staff of the hotel were very friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. There were bus stops outside the hotel to other towns if shopping is what you want but we didn’t venture too far from the hotel. Our family ranged from 7 to 71 and we had a great time, would recommend highly 😁

Our family of four stayed here during the summer holidays and were honestly blown away by both the hotel and the staff. We went all-inclusive and were impressed from the start. Every morning we were greeted with smiles, the restaurants were never overcrowded, and there was always a good selection of food. Lunch was the same – plenty of choice and freshly made. For evening meals, we dined out a couple of times, but the hotel still offered a wide variety of good-quality dishes. The only slight downside was drinks service in the evening; as it wasn’t self-serve, they could take around 10 minutes to arrive, so we got into the habit of ordering before getting food. You also get one visit each to the Greek and Italian à la carte restaurants if you book through reception – both were excellent and definitely worth doing. The hotel guests were mainly German and other European families, with very few British. For us, whilst being British ourselves, this was actually a refreshing change – everyone was polite, respectful, and tidied up after themselves. The main pool was great, though sunbeds were a bit of a challenge. If you didn’t reserve one before 9:30am, it was hard to find a spot where you could keep an eye on the kids. On a couple of occasions, we returned from the water park and couldn’t get a lounger at all. We don’t normally like reserving beds, but in the end, leaving towels before breakfast was the only way to guarantee one. That said, we wouldn’t remove any stars for this – the hotel really is that good. The water park was excellent. It never felt overcrowded, had a decent snack/drink selection, and the lifeguards were outstanding – attentive, professional, and quick to step in if slides were used incorrectly or if children were unsupervised (and rightly told to return with parents). It felt safe at all times. The kids’ pool is up a hill, but there’s a shuttle car to take you there. It has a fantastic food selection (pizza, burgers, salads, kebabs, etc.), drinks, and whippy ice cream on tap. The adult pool was the quietest area, and we never had trouble finding loungers there. Occasionally children would come in, but they were always well-behaved and respectful. The hotel itself sits on a busy road, but the beach is only a 10-minute walk away. There’s also a free shuttle service to and from the beach, which was very handy. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations. Clean, well-run, fantastic staff, great facilities, and something for everyone – we’d happily return.

Booked this holiday through jet2 , and throughly enjoyed apart from one or two misleading aspects , the first one was we booked all inclusive plus but this actually didn’t exist when we where there , no premium drinks and the one time we payed for a premium drink ( baileys) it was just local rubbish , also a severe lack of understanding of a childrens menu , there was a childrens section but it was segregated from the main restaurant and children had to enter on there own , considering we had a toddler with us this was hardly convenient, so no children menu in main restaurant, we mentioned these points to jet 2 but we where completely disregarded, having travelled many times with them this will certainly be the last .

Lovely head and face massage by georgia, she was very attentive and soft. All staff were very friendly and everyone was professional.

Just back from a great week long stay here. 7 of us including two kids and there was something for everyone. Our four year old loved the splash park, seven year old (and the adults) loved the slides. Rooms are very clean, there’s a huge amount of choice in the restaurant and the food was very good. The entertainment team work hard and do a good job, with lots going on. Would highly recommend for a family break.

We've just got back from a lovely week's stay here. Pros: •The staff were all very friendly and so helpful. •The rooms were clean and tidy. •There is a visiting doctor everyday from 11-1130. •There is a transfer up and down the big hill to the rooms every few minutes. •There is a transfer to and from the beach between 10am and 5pm. Or the beach is a 15 min walk. •When we got there we were a little disappointed by how much food choice there was per meal sitting, but there was a different variety daily and it was all really nice. •The pools were entertaining for the kids. •The kids loved the mini disco from 8:45pm. •There's a bus stop directly outside the hotel for €1.50 which takes you to the nearest town. •Mini-market next door for any extra amenities within 5 min walk which is very reasonably priced (1L bottle water for €1.) •Main restaurant plus 2 speciality restaurants (Greek- which was amazing- and Italian). Cons (very minor): •Water was not replaced in the hotel room fridge after the first day and you can't then access water bottles until the lunch time meal, but here is a fountain in the hotel lobby. •Not all inclusive after 22:30 (not that this was a problem for us but for those staying up later than this). Overall we loved this hotel and would return!

Great hotel with fantastic people, make sure to visit the SPA for great relaxing experience. Me and my girlfriend went for a couple massage, we were served by Gianis and Angie and they were both great. Best massages of our lives. Also Mrs. Marina at the SPA reception was really helpful and friendly. Highly recommends to visit them while staying at the hotel.
