We stayed for 11 nights as a group of 7 in 3 rooms Two of the rooms were not as booked, we booked standard rooms with sea view and was given a side sea view room. When speaking to the reception they said this room is a sea view on their system and that we have the correct room. At the time of booking there was a room with side sea view and one with sea view which we booked, so we had clearly been given the side sea view one despite paying more for the full sea view Reception said come back tomorrow at 10am and we can change your rooms. Went back to 10am and it was come back tomorrow at 12. Comes back at 12 day 3 now this is and was told there is no availability to change as they are full. So we had spent 3 days living out a suitcase and wasting the days going back and forth to the reception. Eventually we managed to speak to a manager who magically found 2 rooms that we should have originally received anyway. No sorry, nothing The hotel itself is stunning, clean and plenty of sunbeds no matter what time you visit the pools. The beach and sea are beautiful too. The 24 hour restaurant was a life saver as the buffet food was always just fish and seemed to be more catered to Russians. The outdoor snack bar and the outdoor buffet area you can’t even sit there as you get swarmed by wasps and hornets Russians definitely are favourited over English at this hotel, the bar staff will intentionally serve Russians over English and when you are served you’re greeted to attitude. There were times others were served over us despite waiting longer Barely any of the staff speak English which makes everything much more difficult Starbucks and the snack bar is great although it could be better opening Starbucks earlier seeming as it is coffee, it doesn’t open until 12 Daytime entertainment is pretty non existent other than Pilates 6 times a day. Evening entertainment is actually good but only lasts 45 minuets which is crazy then that’s it Overall this hotel is probably just pushing a 4 star with a big help of its location and unfortunately my party and I wouldn’t return especially for the 10 grand we paid for it

Just returned from La Blanche Island and had such a lovely week! The location of this resort is just beautiful and the views are stunning. A convenient 30 min transfer from the airport using Jet2 transfer. Weather was gorgeous in the high 20s every day apart from 1 day with cloud and some rain. I can highly recommend the Turkish Bath treatment at the spa. We spoke to Andy around the main pool who was so lovely and gave me a great deal. The treatment itself was just amazing...full body exfoliation, full body massage, and a face mask to finish, it was so relaxing and my skin felt amazing afterwards! The massage was the best I've ever had and I've been to plenty of UK spas for treatments. All in all an absolute bargain and one of the highlights of my holiday! Thankyou Andy ☺️ We also did the Ozzlife boat trip from Bodrum which was the best day. We were picked up from the hotel at 9am, and were back by 6pm. The boat is so comfortable and not crowded at all, it's such a relaxing day. The crew are just so friendly, welcoming and attentive. The trip includes a gorgeous fresh lunch of chicken, pasta, salad and bread, with soft drinks included all day and we had a yummy slice to chocolate cake towards the end which was lovely. We made 4 stops at little bays for swimming and snorkelling...all for £50pp (we were 2 adults) which was such a great deal. Highly recommend! The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and has everything you could need. The rooms are a little dated but nothing of concern, just in comparison to some of the newer resorts in Turkey that we've been to. We had a standard double with sea view and it was great. The food in the buffet restaurant is repetitive like most all inclusive resorts but there's always something for everyone. No complaints from us! Plenty of sunbeds everywhere and lots of different places to sit throughout the day. We loved all of the beach and pool areas. The views are breathtaking. Snorkelling around the pier areas was great too! We would definitely return, we had a great week. Thanks to all of the hotel and Jet2 staff for a great holiday 👍

This is our third year coming to La Blanche island. We will say we will not come back next year. We have enjoyed our past few years which is why we kept returning however it has gone downhill this year. Firstly our favourite spot to sunbathe was on the pier the last few years. It has now been replaced with a massive stage and seating area for the night entertainment. This is never full at night and entertainment is not the best. People constantly smoking around you which made me worry for the children and pregnant ladies but overall made me feel sick from the smell. The food was one of the reasons we returned. We loved the Mexican snack bar and the Italian snack bar for the last few years. These have now been replaced. The Turkish snack bar has limited options such as greasy kebabs. My partner enjoyed this but I couldn’t eat anything. The vira snack bar food was always luke warm so made it not enjoyable. I didn’t eat anything at lunch time because of this. The Turkish pancakes were amazing however. Drinks were always different some un drinkable as too strong which makes it not enjoyable. The Greek snack bar which is advertised on the hotel information map never opened when we was there and when we asked guest relations why it was not open they said it had shut for the season. This was misleading from the information they provided. The main restaurant repetitive and some things un edible. The last two years they had the barbecue area open with kebabs and grilled foods. We never saw this from this year. Again people constantly smoking whilst you are eating even first thing in the morning. Some days I smelt of cigarettes smoke because of the amount of people smoking around me. The 24hr snack bar was handy but minimal options. We always sit around the beach. This year it seems guests are bringing their own speakers and playing music so loud you can’t relax which is inconsiderate. The bottom beach where the volleyball is smelt of cow manure a few days and was not pleasant to sit around. Overall we will not be returning next year due to the food and entertainment being the main downfall. This year has gone really down hill

Been to many 5 star resorts in Turkey, this is definitely not a five star, 3 the most! I'd expect basic understanding of English but very little is understood here. I think this hotel is targeted for the the Turkish people, and very limited for the British. What I will say is that the hotel is spotless, the drinks are good, and the adults evening entertainment is OK too. The hotel itself is massive, but this was ok but don't expect much around you if you want to venture out for snacks etc, the hotel shop you need to remortgage your home,it's a total scam and they think us British are stupid with the prices they tell us! The food is not good, unless you will eat anything, breakfast terrible, lunch is terrible, snack bars are serving a very basic menu , food luke warm and very very poor quality. The evening meal is not much better, however we paid for three al a carte meals which we're outstanding! I do not understand how they can provide basic food when the al a cartes are outstanding? We had a nut allergy too, which they did not understand, a child with autism again they have little knowledge. The kids entertainment is a JOKE! the worst I've seen! Starts late too! Honestly it was laughable, total shame, as we expected more. Don't let photos fool you they are mainly the swim up rooms, that have their own restaurants. Keep away, there are FAR better hotels out there!

This hotel has so much potential and has beautiful views. Our experience was that the staff let it down. We experienced very little customer service and this is a real shame as we have visited Turkey many many times and never experienced such poor standard. Most of the staff didn’t understand any English so it was difficult to communicate. Staff are too busy on their mobile phones to serve you and a smile wasn’t experienced. No idea where the management team are overseeing their staff but I would suggest they need to review their management style. The food was ok, breakfast was the poorest selection we have personally experienced. There was choice in the buffet but considering the hotel is trying to give off a certain vibe then the food doesn’t match this vibe. In comparison to other hotels in Turkey this hotel needs to up its customer service and review their management style . The hotel itself is lovely, they have the waffle bar which is great for kids, however the staff there again on their phones when serving you and can’t crack a smile. The waffles are basic and they come with Nutella , sauce and ice cream. Starbucks next door to the waffles with limited menus but a great addition. My husband went daily for an iced white chocolate mocha which he enjoyed. The beaches are beautiful with plenty of sun-beds. The pools are lovely. The snack bars have a basic menu , wasps are an issue constantly. The lobby bar is lovely, they have a little patisserie which we enjoyed- daily. Again there is no customer service and you have to grab your own drinks constantly. The entertainment is poor. We waited 45 minutes twice whilst here. Once for a salad in the 24hr snack bars and once for drinks ( when we did get served and didn’t have to go up ourselves to order). Personally, I would hold off visiting here until they sort themselves out. Majority of people we spoke to at the hotel had the same comments… a real shame as the report is absolutely stunning.

Amazing holiday! I have been to Turkey around 15 times and stayed at some high and low end hotels and this was one of the best. Mainly because of the location and stunning scenery, the sea and lanscape can be seen from everywhere. The pools are great, a bit cold but really nice. Beaches are to die for, especillaly the one at the bottom of the Escalators, it was the calm sea and beautiful view we loved, as well as the brilliant bar and snack bar, ice cream is also available here daily. We used to love watching the Sea Plane from The Lujo hotel take off and arrive every day. The food in the main buffet restaurant was lovely, something different every day, so much choice and variety. The setting was beautiful, eating outside under cover, it was honestly one of the best all inclusive buffets ive ever been too. Not at all Stark and Like a canteen as many of them are, it was nice to have some ambiance. The Al-a-cartes- We were only offerd the Turkish, Italian, and Thai, we found out later that there are more? We opted for the Italian, very good but the hotels white wine is very bad (always is in Turkey) so we looked at the wine list and just laughed at the 90 euro price tag, and opted for a G&T instead. We paid for the Tepanyaki at the Thai - Sakura, 20 euros each, it was a true highlight of the holiday. The Chef was a real Character, the setting was perfect and the food AMAZING! I am so glad we did this. The sunset bar was such a bonus, so many hotels lack a decent place to have a drink after dinner and I hate sitting in Hotel Lobby's. This bar was so chilled, the sunsets were spectacular, the staff here were really lovely too. The standard room was perfect, with a great view, comfy beds and great pillows, it was cleaned everyday . We didnt ever have to wait a long time for the lifts. I must mention the snack bar by the pool, the best Kebabs ever, and food and drink was brought out very quickly too, just use your phone to scan the menu even for drinks. great service. I didn't really enjoy the cocktails but all other drinks were very good quality. It was a delight to stay here and swim in the sea every day, we saw so many fish too. I can't think of anything negative to say. I will definately be back!

I’ll admit it—I overthink holidays and research them to death, but you never get perfect, do you? Here’s my honest review of La Blanche Island. First impression: stunning. The views across the peninsula are breathtaking and the grounds are beautifully maintained. And thank goodness—no sunbed wars! We could easily find loungers well after 11 a.m., which made such a difference. We travelled in September, so I can’t speak for peak season, but the private beach areas also help keep things relaxed. This was our first trip to Turkey—we usually head to Spain—so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The hotel itself is very clean and well looked after. The all-inclusive buffet always had something for everyone. We’re a group of foodies and never went hungry—lots of international choices. It’s not overly “British,” like some Spanish resorts, but that’s hardly a negative. Drinks were generally good; the main bar at night sometimes tasted a little diluted, but you can simply ask for the mixer separately if you prefer a stronger pour. For lunch we often skipped the main buffet in favor of the Sunrise pool restaurant or beach bar, which offered tasty snacks with waiter service. All the snack bars had fairly simple menus—burgers, pasta, kebabs, salads—but everything we tried was fresh and satisfying. And a Starbucks on site is a nice bonus for coffee lovers. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. I gave this resort 4 stars purely because of the food and drinks, but it was very nearly a 5. For the spectacular views, spotless grounds, plentiful sunbeds by both pool and beach, and an overall chilled atmosphere, La Blanche Island is a winner for a relaxing getaway.

We arrived three days ago and have been thoroughly enjoying our stay. After our late-night arrival, we picked up our rental car at the airport—it was quick, easy, and hassle-free. The drive to La Blanche Island took just 25 minutes, with free parking available on-site. On arrival, security was efficient, and we were pleasantly surprised to find hot food waiting for us at midnight. The next morning, we woke up to absolutely stunning views—every angle of the hotel offers breathtaking scenery. The location on the peninsula is simply beautiful. There’s a great variety of pools, refreshing drinks, and delicious cocktails. The beaches are idyllic, stretching all around the property, complete with swings that make for perfect Instagram photos. The buffet restaurant offers plenty of variety, and we’re especially looking forward to trying the Sakura à la carte. With so many cuisines available, we’re spoilt for choice. Our family room is very spacious, with two bedrooms, and the staff have been fantastic—always friendly, smiling, polite, and attentive. Yesterday we drove to Bodrum Marina, just 25 minutes away, and enjoyed the scenic coastal views along the way. We’re really looking forward to the rest of our stay

We arrived today and wow what a hotel. We are regular travellers and this hotel is amazing. Staff are so helpful and lovely and food so far is great compared to other hotels we have stayed. It’s our first day but so far we are all having a fantastic experience
