Staff and facilities were great. Beautiful villas. Nice restaurants.

They clean the beach everyday, but trash in the water is a constant. More of a behavioral problem than a resort problem. Stick to the pool.

The service was excellent; the staff were very congenial and quick to jump in and help/assist with our travel planning, activities on site, food and beverage service.

The beach, while out of control of the hotel, was surprisingly and unfortunately quite polluted, especially the water. All sorts of trash seemed to floating in the water which certainly took away from the pristine-ness of the place. Again, I know this is a larger issue and not something the hotel can necessarily control, however I did expect the enviornment to be a bit cleaner

It’s lush green tree filled surroundings. It’s attentive and ever polite helpful staff especially our personal butler The beach is clean with clear waters.

The roof was leaking during a heavy rain.

It was absolutely a dream. Everything was perfect—the room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. All the staff were very friendly, especially Fabi, our butler. The beach is enchanting, and the afternoon tea was delicious. The food at the hotel restaurant was also very tasty.

It's only a little bit far from Harbor.

Plataran was a welcome respite after 2 weeks on the road in Flores. But the whole Labuan Bajo area is a nightmare - a tourist mecca gone off the rails. However, the rooms are beautiful, the spa excellent, and the jetty is bliss if you can get it to yourself

Constant awful music blasts 24/7. Noisy kids screaming - the grounds are too small for a kid-friendly atmosphere. Its just not a peaceful place, except for the spa. In addition, the surrounds are full of new hotel construction. Honestly, i would skip the whole area. Much, much better locations in other areas of Indonesia with better value comprably.
