The view

Very tired. Dirty. Outside loungers dirty,not been cleaned at all. Pool was dirty up to the day before we left. The bathroom toilet was bad,full of brown limescale,toilet brush filthy. We had a sheet change. No cleaning. There was no duvet or cover on double bed,we took a blanket out and this was covered in staines!. Lounge furniture so uncomfortable we had to use blanket from single beds. Sideboard broken,tv rubbish. This place needs an overhaul! Come on guys make the place more comfortable for paying guests!

Great location get for a budget family or couple getaway

The pool was not heated, I suppose this is okay at the heights of summer but when we stayed in March 2024 it was unbearably cold so could not use it.

Facilities and comfort

Location as hard to get taxi. Bars and restaurants beside the property sometimes closed.

Villas Marinas are conveniently located at east border of Playa Blanca area close to local shopping centre, restaurants and bus station if you wish to take a drive to the central of the city. It is also walking distance from Playa de las Mujeres, just about 15 minutes using adjacent trials, open sand beach, one of the popular destination for sea and sun lovers. We have often dropped down to the Atlantic, about 300m, for coastline walk on Paseo Marítimo San Marcial. Lanzarote offers solid cycling routes for road and off road enthusiasts, I am one of them. There is one exclusive road out of Playa Blanca, LZ-701, which takes you to La Hoya from where many routes begin. I have also attached the layout of the Villas Residential for orientation because it can be tricky to allocate your villa when you arrive at night.

There is really nothing not to like if you have realistic expectations about winter weather on this island. Temperatures oscillate around 17 - 22 centigrades and Atlantic is on the cold side but enjoyable. Sunshine is prevalent all days so you feel very 'summertime'. Only setback that can be experienced are time to time when strong NE winds occur bringing with them dust from nearby West Sahara about 125km only, they cover everything and also affect visibility.

We loved the situation of the viilla being close to Papagayp and facilities yet away from the crowds .

We didnt like the traffic noise in the early part of the morning from delivery trucks buses and cars . Being in No.40 was windy with its elevation.

The villa had everything to make a self-catering holiday perfect. The bed was a little hard, but apart from that, we loved the facilities offered, and the location was ideal.

Very uncomfortable beds. Noisy building works across the road . The villa looked a bit tired and dated
