Le personnel n'est pas du tout avenant, dit à peine bonjour, donne peu d'explications et paraît même parfois ne pas savoir ce qu'il doit faire. L'établissement mériterait des travaux de rénovation et souffre d'un manque global d'entretien. On trouve ainsi de nombreux déchets dans les pelouses autour du restaurant Le Warf. La connexion internet est parfois capricieuse. Les tarifs sont démesurément élevés au regard des prestations globales. .

The location was great and it is a sprawling property.

It might be the season, but there were weddings galore. Felt like we were gate crashing weddings. During breakfast buffet it felt as if we were sneaking into a wedding buffet. External event managers operated outside their remit with regards to property facilities. Also, don’t go simply by photos. We booked a garden view chalet and were alloted a room in some old guest house building (the mirror in the room had “rotting” stains). Eventually, we figured out what was in photos was something different and were offered to be moved to an upgraded room. If ones wants to have a peaceful holiday, avoid wedding season at all costs.

Breakfast was good with a lot of choices

Receptionist on arrival was very stern & unfriendly although other staff lovely & friendly. Overcharged what we thought was an agreed cost of our stay but no bu DCging. Feel they put us in the worst located room ans a result of this. (Don’t stay in room 92). Although the grounds are beautiful & pool really something else restaurant was basic & service very slow. Main issue was a generator/air conditioning Unit behind room 95 next to us which kept us awake all night. Called the engineer twice at 0030hrs & 0330hrs & finally went off at 0400 not that they ever told us what they were doing or what had happened. Hotel manager refused to reduce our costings for this in anyway & was implying we had our air conditioning unit on which was definitely not the case.This spoilt our stay completely which for our budget was a very extravagant treat. As a result felt absolutely knackered due to our lack of sleep & generally stress & anxiety.
