Radisson Blu Resort Temple Bay Mamallapuram

Service was great but the food wasn't up to normal standard. Wasn't happy about the taste.

Food

This is an outstanding resort. Set in beautifully manicured gardens, a huge swimming pool and right on the beach. We had a beach villa (24) which was amazing. Waking up in the morning to sound of waves and a view of the sun rising on the ocean. The beach area here is clean and flat and we found it perfectly ok to swim.The hotel is very clean, the staff are very polite and helpful and always acknowledge you. Housekeeping was excellent and the room was well thought out and spotlessly clean. We had half board which we felt was good value. The food was varied and of high quality. There was lots of choice at breakfast and all dietary preferences were catered for. The bars have happy hours from 3-7pm which makes a nice cocktail very affordable.

Nothing. Not a hotel issue but someone needs to take more interest in the Olive Ridley Turtles which nest on the beach. Many get caught in fishing nets and locals dig up the eggs for personal gain. Evidence all over the beach away from the resort.

Amazing swimmingpool and its surrounding area.

Booked massage and got a totally non-experienced therapist. I was offered a new therapist next time and did not have to pay for this treatment but I never had time to take the new treatment. So I wasted my time. Very overpriced spa for the level of therapies they offer.
