Avila's Horizon Dive Resort Malapascua

Wir waren vier Nächte dort Ende Januar/Anfang Februar. Unser Zimmer "G" im Obergeschoss war okay, nichts besonderes. Ein kleines Bad, in dem es zeitweise etwas roch, aber das ist in Asien ja fast normal. Das einfache Wandeinbau Klimagerät war recht laut, aber das Wetter war so kühl, dass wir es nachts nicht einschalten mussten. Das mitgebuchte Frühstück war a la carte, allerdings mit überschaubaren Portionen. Das Essen im Restaurant sonst recht gut. Da es viel regnete, konnten wir nur im kleinen, überdachten Bereich essen, dort war es ziemlich ungemütlich. Es gibt ein paar Strandliegen, die aber schon morgens von Gästen anderer Unterkünfte oder von per Boot angereisten Touristen eingenommen werden. Vor unserer Anreise wurden wir über booking.com nach unserer Ankunftszeit gefragt, nachdem wir diese mitteilten, hörten wir nichts. Es gab auch trotz Rückfragen keine Information, wie wir vom Pier zur Unterkunft kommen könnten, so dass wir letztlich mit Rucksack die 2 km gelaufen sind. Man kann nur mitsamt Gepäck auf einem Motorrad Taxi mitfahren, was wir nicht wollten. Die junge Dame an der Rezeption war auch sonst sehr distanziert und nicht entgegenkommend. Der Service im Restaurant war dagegen freundlich und gut.

Everything was amazing. From the stunning beach in front of the resort, the clean rooms, the wonderful service, the delicious food in the restaurant and the professional service at the 5-star Padi Dive Shop. The beach is the most beautiful beach on the island with only Avila’s Horizon Resort on it. So if you like your own beach without the crowds, go to this resort. It’s a 50-peso ride from the port where you arrive in the south to the north of the island to the resort. Takes about 7 minutes. The dive shop service and equipment is first rate and the thresher shark dive is amazing! PS. Bring cash with you to the island because the ATMs on the island only spit out 10,000 peso a day and charge 300 peso for each transaction

Nice location on north beach, very friendly staff. Room and premises are clean and nice.

Our rooms was next to a some sort of chicken farm. Rosters were yelling all night so sleeping even with earplugs was hardly possible. Breakfast was really not good. If you offer an included breakfast either put some effort on it or just don’t offer it at all. (Especially for the price compared to other places on the island I expected it better)

El personal es increible. En Avila nos hicieron sentir como en casa y siempre estaban muy atentos para ayudarnos. Respecto al submarinismo, disponen de un barco muy bien equipado y la experiencia fue increíble. Recomiendo Avila sin lugar a dudas!!!

Della struttura nulla. Non ci hanno comunicato che per rifare la camera serviva mettere il cartello (che tra l’altro non c’era nella nostra camera). Climatizzatore come un motore diesel. Impossibile tenerlo acceso. Bagno piccolo senza box doccia. Abbiamo trovato 2 Scarafaggi grandi in camera. Nessun armadio per appoggiare in camera. Nessuno stendino per stendere gli asciugamani bagnati. Al ristorante menu molto scarsi (“pollo adobo” praticamente solo verdura e riso bianco più due pezzettini di pollo con l’osso). Acquistato una maglietta come souvenir ed era sporca ovunque seppur ancora chiusa sigillata. Sconsigliatissimo visto il rapporto qualità prezzo.
