Hidden Beach Resort

Die Kommunikation -> perfek, Organisation -> perfekt, die Bungalows -> perfekt, der Ausblick... traumhaft. Transfer von und zum Hotel wurde organisiert, Scooter vor Ort direkt bereitgestellt, Kajaks ebenfalls. Ein riesen Dank an Jake und sein Team und die Hunde für diese schöne Zeit Der Aufenthalt von nur 2 Nächten war zu kurz. Wir haben uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt kein Wunsch blieb unerfüllt, wir werden defintiv zurückkommen!

Room is nicely decorated with wood furniture. Hired motorbike was new good quality. Peaceful

Garbage on grass in front of room. No one bother to clean it in 2 days. Our view was sea, trees, grass and garbage. Small Scorpion in bathroom. We removed with care. Some rodent presumably scratching on the roof in the night. Felt a little disturbed by it. Some beaches was full of sand flies / flees and we had more than 50 bites each. It was horrible and we couldn’t wait to leave the island after. Very uncomfortable from bites. It would be a small thing for the hotel to give some basic advice about this. Beach close to the hotel is strewn with garbage. It’s not the hotel job, but sadly there is no obvious effort to clear it.

I like the location, it s really quiet and chill , it is a bit further away from other hotels and center but that's not a problem at all. You can get a taxi or ride a motor bike around anyway. There are places to walk around resort like Cape Tukata and also you can kayak to small island. The bangalow is spacious with a nice balcony. The front beach water is clear. One of the reason that makes Hidden beach is a special place is the owner and staff are really nice, friendly and helpful, keep things simple and relax. I feel like I stay at my friend's place. I would definitely come back again.

There are some trashes on the side of resort beach but these are also seen in other beaches in Koh Mak too.

Gorgeously designed spacious room overlooking the ocean. Perfection.

Really beautiful spot, on a lovely small paradise type stretch of beach with lots of palm trees overhanging clear water. The bar served some delicious Mexican food until 4pm which I'd really recommend. The view from the balcony was beautiful and loved sitting up there with a beer listening to the waves. Staff all really friendly and helpful. A simple and rustic hideaway to get away from it all. The rooms felt private and tranquil. Whilst being quite a far walk into where the restaurants shops etc are (25mins along dark roads). A taxi is only 150 baht, or you can rent a moped from them for 300 baht a day. We did walk along the beach into the town area twice, but be warned you have to wade through waist high sea water late afternoon because of the tide and climb over fallen palm trees. An adventure but quicker than the road!

Very basic inside the rooms, could be improved with a bit more furniture, another pillow and basic toiletries (shower gel & soap). One of our two balcony chairs was broken and the sink was leaking really badly during our stay. Didn't affect our stay, but just some improvements and it could be great.

Literally 10/10 Atmosphere, view, room, bike rental inside, one of the best beaches on the island. People are like a family here (it happens often on Ko Mak tho). Wonderful.
