Beautiful property tucked away.. perfect for base to explore.. family that owns and runs the property are very attentive, including their boys who are very excited if you give them the opportunity to chat in English.. room was very clean, updated features.

the room was very clean and the hosts are lovely people, that can tell you all about the ancient city. Possible to rent bikes for little money. Outstanding about this property was the new bathroom, which was the best in all our travels.

since the property is on a main road, we got given a quiet room towards the inner courtyard, which meant that you could not really open the window or draw the curtains, because people would go past. The outside of the building backs onto a carpark.

Small but comfortable room; convenient location- just a few minutes walk from new bus station; very helpful owners - lady can cooked tasty local meals, breakfast while her husband offered great trip and transport advices.

There were quite a bit of mosquitoes appearing from late afternoon by the steep staircase and doorway. A mosquito repellent in hand helped tremendously.

The family, with their three adorable sons, stole our hearts with their genuine efforts to ensure our comfort. Always accessible and eager to assist, their hospitality went above and beyond! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with refreshing fresh juice and a heartwarming introduction to the family, and a comprehensive introduction to the city and its attractions. Nestled in the bustling city, the Rajarata Reach Resort proved to be the perfect base for us (for exploring landmarks both on foot and via TukTuk). The room exceeded our expectations, with a very high level of comfort and cleanliness. From the plush towels and exquisite bedding to exceptional attention to detail, it was a little haven of luxury. The comfortable beds, complete with mosquito nets, were complemented by a lovely balcony and reliable internet. Notably, the modern bathroom with its fantastic amenities stood out, perhaps ranking as the best we've encountered during our journey through Sri Lanka. During our whole stay the family helped us with all our travel queries and offered valuable tips. You can also have mouth-watering homemade meals in a beautiful communal area, which was fantastic! To sum up, our experience at this family-run establishment was truly enjoyable. We eagerly anticipate a return visit and send our heartfelt wishes to the family until then. A true gem, highly recommended for those seeking a tranquil and lovely retreat in the heart of the city.

Extremely nice and helpful family who runs this accomodation. They made a very tasty breakfast and gave us recommendations. The room and the bathroom were very clean.

The room smelled (maybe some kind of typical smell in Sri lanka because we found it in other places as well). Maybe the drain? Hard to say. Our clothes now smell after it and its impossible to wear.

We really impressed the way the owners welcome and treated us throught our stay at the place. They are very good entrepreneurs and admire them. As a Sri Lankan, proud of you both. Wish you all the best.
