Rajarata Reach Resort

This accommodation was like a home stay. The hosts were a delightful family who provided exceptional service. Meals were delicious, authentic, home cooked SriLankin cuisine. Plentiful and so reasonably priced. Room was very clean and comfortable. Location excellent. Our host provided a great service to ensure we saw the best of their home town. We thank the family for a most delightful stay. Highly recommend.

Maybe some black-out curtains for window to lessen corridor light at night.

Good central budget option with clean AC rooms, good bed and bathroom and a helpful owner. (Greeted with mango juice, and they organized a tuk tuk for a days of sights). Good local restaurants, supermarkets and alcohol stores a short walk away.

Clean room with amenities; the boss is very enthusiastic and helpful, giving us a free ride to the bus station.

Breakfast a bit expensive.

Very helpful staff, they provide us trips, they helped with everything. They were very friendly, we appreciated it a lot! Breakfast was delicious! Very clean room with antimosquito nets. Bathroom was clean too.

Very noisy from the street.

Chammika, his wife, and the kids were the most friendly hosts one could imagine. Always interested in your experiences and ready to help.

The accommodation is what you expect for the price. Not the best ever, but everything works and it's clean.

If I could rate my experience at Rajarata Reach 20 out of 10 I would. From the moment I arrived Chammika, his lovely wife Upuli and their three sons made me feel at home. It felt more like a home stay than a hotel but with my own privacy. Super clean rooms, extremely comfortable beds and absolutely delicious food. The property is in a perfect location. Walking distance to shops and good restaurants. Close to transport and a short bike ride to the temples. Chammika even arranged a Wilpattu National Park visit with one of the operators for me and was able to get me onto a shared jeep to keep costs down (don’t miss this - leopards, elephants, crocs!). Very hard to leave :)

The owners are really nice. They were very helpful. We felt really good in this accommodation. Everything was clean, A/C was working. And breakfast was amazing!

Clean and comfortable like last time. It had everything we needed: hot shower, AC, meals on request..will come back next time if we ever visit again.

The toilet door was a bit difficult to close but that was a minor issue. For light sleepers, there might be car noise in the evening as it was conveniently located along the main road. However, it didn’t cause sleep issue for us.

Words cannot express the loving family that hosts us with such a smile and kindness. Location is good. Even busy outside, you cannot feel from the room. Very clean place. They will cook amazing food if requested. They recommended me a tour through the ancient village and i couldn't be happier that i made it. Bikes are also there if you want to rent. However, i recomend that visits are made with a guide that talks about the beautiful history of the place and religion. A place to stay with love.

Just be aware, people with reduced mobilization, the acommodation has big steps.
