Nice friendly staff, Danusha looked after everything for us, our room was very nice and clean will all amenities, AC, fan, TV, mini bar, etc.

Food was great

The upstairs room has a roof with minimal insulation or sound proofing so all night you can hear birds, animals and/or trees moving on the ceiling making it very difficult to sleep. Shower rain head was not working. Expect to pay half the price for what you get.

The location was excellent overlooking the Lagoon

As the dining room had a conference we had to eat breakfast outside and the Lagoon attracts flies so we needed to leave our food.

Very nice and clean place to stay and very friendly staff. The food was exceptional.

Our getaway at Kalpitiya Chalets by Thilanka was incredibly peaceful and beautiful. The chalets are nestled in a calm area by Puttalam lagoon, offering breathtaking views. The private balcony, with its magical touch, made our time there perfect for peaceful moments with my wife. What sets Kalpitiya Chalets apart is not just the stunning location but also the delicious food and amazing staff, making it a truly memorable place for a relaxed retreat in Kalpitiya.

The location was lovely

We have been waiting for lunch more than three hours and room was full of dust and smells bad.

Super big rooms and an incredible view! Staff is really friendly and the food is lovely prepared. Especially the crab curry!

The rooms are not very clean.

Most friendlies and competent service

Loved the place! Spacious and well appointed room, overlooking the lagoon. Was a great place for us to wind our vacation down. We were the only guests in the resort when we stayed, so we got great attention by Romina and Sasi. Food was good, the views were great and the cats on property were very friendly.

The location seems to be out of the territory of Uber and Pickme, so was a little challenging to find a taxi to take us to the airport.
