Great place to stay.

Marcela is so charming and unique! The hotel's design with the amazing gardens, like a mini jungle tucked into the side of the hill, is beautiful. The lovely pool area and rooms are goregous, spaceous, and full of character. The staff were kind and so accommodating. It was very quiet when we visited and the experience was delughtful. Highly recommend!

The food, the people and the culture is amazing! Would love to be here for the Day of the Dead celebration. Maybe next year! The all day boat ride we took yesterday was unforgettable. Beautiful place for couples! A very inclusive destination for everyone! We love Puerto Vallarta!

The Marcela resort was an amazing destination in itself, with great food and beautiful surroundings, and a great pool area. It was relatively easy for two able-bodied people to walk to the Romantica Zone and back, as long as you are ok with a little exercise. The staff was exceptional, especially Oscar! I hope we are lucky enough to come back again!

Our stay was good, the staff was helpful and attentive to our request. Hotel is a bit old but with beautiful views. It is away from the hotel zone and crowds. The only down part was the walking up and down hill to get to the beaches definitely not up for ppl with bad knees. Overall our stay was pleasant and a nice time there.

While navigating the property requires navigating stairs (the elevator doesn't service all floors) and there's almost non on-site parking (outside the narrow street), the very friendly staff goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. They'll even text you to see if you need room service or housekeeping! Perfect for those seeking a unique and comfortable escape, this hidden gem caters to families or larger groups with its spacious suites. I'm very grateful and I will come back with my whole family, finally found my hotel in Puerto Vallarta.

Wonderful accommodation, but access is difficult. Especially for older people with mobility issues.

The staff was great. Organized an atv tour that was super fun. Great pool. Very close walk to Romantic zone.
