Panhou Retreat

The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. Everything was handled smoothly and kindly. Wi-Fi in the rooms was a bit weak, but it didn’t affect the stay much.

I met a guide named Menh who taught me how to say “thank you” in Dao language. We laughed a lot that day. It’s moments like these that stay forever.

No TV, no Wi-Fi in the room. I wasn't happy at first, but after spending a relaxing night reading and talking with my travel companion, I found it very comfortable. I recommend this place..

The swimming pool overlooks the beautiful surrounding mountains and forests, especially in the afternoon, it's very peaceful. We read books in the morning and swam in the afternoon. We only wish we had more time to enjoy the pool even more.

Nous avons vraiment apprécié les activités de randonnée, avec des sentiers paisibles et de magnifiques paysages. Le personnel était serviable et a donné de bonnes suggestions d’itinéraires. Le temps change rapidement, donc il est recommandé de prévoir des vêtements chauds.

Le plus grand atout de cet endroit est la sensation d’être vraiment proche de la nature. La chambre est propre et bien rangée, et l’eau chaude est toujours disponible sans même avoir à allumer un interrupteur. Les nuits peuvent être un peu fraîches, même en été, donc pensez à emporter une petite veste.

The rooms were cozy and quiet, and I slept very well. The food was local and well-prepared. The menu wasn't extensive, but the quality was excellent.

Panhou is the greenest resort I've ever been to, with so many old trees, green vegetable gardens... wow!

My family trekking through the terraced rice fields and villages. The locals were very friendly. We visited the Red Dao village and enjoyed their food, which was delicious. A memorable experience.
