Out of town and next to the water

I had high hopes for this place, but it’s sadly fallen into ruin and isn’t maintained. Sheets had holes, lights didn’t turn on, and the outside door handle to the room was so wobbly it felt like it was going to fall off. While my husband was showering water began pouring out of the overhead light in the bathroom (see pics). Staff let us switch rooms, and while the new one was better, it was still dirty and neglected. Patio with the best view of the beach is roped off, beach access is closed, and boards are loose on pathways around the “resort”, so I wondered when one would flip up and smack me while walking. This place way overpriced for the value and I don’t recommend it—you’re much better off finding a cleaner, cheaper place close to town.

they offer room service and the food was reasonable. it’s in a tucked away location.

They advertised having a bar, they only serve beer.

A 20 minute taxi from the airport, secluded outside of town. Amazing bar and deck overlooking the ocean. Nice pool. Clean and comfortable. The staff speak a little English, enough to get by. I liked it better then anything else I saw in Sorong.
