Hotel Rainforest

The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Starting from a warm welcome with a complimentary drink, throughout all the meals we had at the hotel, arranging attractions and transport - we have always received fantastic service. A special thanks goes to Raj, a great guide and manager. He arranged a jeep and a walking safari for us in the Chitwan National Park, and even accompanied us on a canoe ride! Thank you for your time, friendliness and humor! We would also like to thank Suman, who took care of us and other guests un the hotel restaurant. The meals we had were always very tasty, fresh, and served with a smile.

We had no complaints, our expectations were exceeded.

Very big rooms, convenient and central location, but still very quiet in the night. Although the furniture is a bit old, it was very clean.

Bathrooms could have been cleaner, the water in the pool was quite turbid and didn't look very inviting

Perfect location, clean and comfy rooms, lovely swimming pool and great breakfast. On checking in, Raj set up our canoe trip and jeep safari for the next day - both were brilliant and great value for money. Can’t recommend enough!

The room was spacious. Breakfast was inclusive, the lunch and dinner we had at the hotel was better than outside restaurants.(cheaper as well)

The bedsheets and towels didn't look clean.

Even I provided my credit card on my booking they ask my family to provide credit card or pay cash, they end up paying cash, if they had to pay then no mean for me sending them this booking as a gift, very disappointed.

The two Rajs!!! We were so well-treated that we never wanted to leave! Raj the guide was the best guide I’ve had anywhere I’ve ever been. We were so impressed by his genuine love for Chitwan and it’s wildlife. His knowledge of the animals and everything about the park was outstanding. And he was a lot of fun! I also loved that this property does not support the use of elephants for hauling tourists around on safaris (Side note, if you’re going to Chitwan, please don’t be a jerk and ride those poor elephants - it’s cruel and should be illegal!) We saw more wildlife (especially rhinos!) with Raj than any other tourists we met. He is brilliant and you won’t find a better guide anywhere! Raj the manager was also fabulous - very warm and hospitable (as was everyone else we met there) and he even arranged our transportation to our next destination (Bandipur). Breakfast was great too! Wifi worked well. Everyone here was wonderful, even the security guard out front was a delight. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Hotel is well located. It is very close to city center. Tharu Culture Programme center and sunset point is at the walking distance. Breakfast is complementary which was served hot and on time. Hot water was available for 24 hours. We had visited during Durga Puja festival due to which some issue being faced with cold water in morning which was resolved within 5 min after taking to manager. Manager was very co-operative.
