Plaa's Thansadet Resort

Absolutely amazing stay! The owners are very kind, I had issues getting to the resort and they were very understanding with my booking. I got a standard bungalow, a wooden one with a fan, and I loved it so much! The room had 2 fans, so it was cool enough. The view from the bungalow is absolutely stunning at sunrise, and the overall vibe is very private, very cozy, and super quiet. It was really a fantastic opportunity to relax and recharge in a very enchanting atmosphere - lots of colorful butterflies around, chirping birds, ocean breeze. The location is totally isolated, no shops around, only 2 other places to stay/eat, but this is such a rarity these days, it makes it even better. Just be sure to bring snacks and anything you may need from town. I even extended my stay and would have kept extending but they were fully booked, so be sure to book ahead of time. The staff there are soo nice and friendly, always so polite. The taxi service cancelled on my check out day, so the owner helped send me to the ferry pier. Even the room service was fabulous, the room smelled amazing afterwards. There were some geckos and small insects especially at night, but nothing excessive. There were mosquitos though, so be sure to come prepared with repellent. For animal lovers - they also have the best doggo at the resort, so cute and friendly!

It is not easy to access from the beach. It's doable for sure, but not easy, some steep steps and the direction is not immediately clear. Wifi was a little slow on some days, so I used a simcard and hotspot and it was fine.

the room's view was amazing. Than Sadet beach was wonderful, calm and silence. If you love silence, you can rest there.

This place is amazing! It feels like paradise. The walk up is a little adventurous. The food in the restaurant is really good and the beach is beautiful

The bungalow was good in size with comfy beds. The view was the highlight, with a balcony with chairs and hammocks to enjoy the sunrise made our stay the best so far. The place is on the other side of the island where most things are but we had scooters and had no problem driving out for dinner every night. Because it’s a bit further out, the beach was way emptier making out stay even better. The owner is very nice and helped us with any questions or requests we had. 10/10 would recommend, especially for the price

Occasionally the stairs to the bungalows smelt like sewage but it never bothered us in our bungalow or on our balcony

The food at the kitchen from Plaa's restaurant was excellent Thai food. Takes a bit of time to get prepared but it's totally worth it. The place is close to a beautiful, quiet bay, great with kids.
